I'm usually pretty good at googling.. I can usually find what I'm looking for eventually.
But I've got a real tuff cookie here. Okay so I've fallen in love with these sneakers I found on ebay. They are australian (I think because the seller is australian). She's got different pictures posted of the shoes so I've pretty much been able to piece together the brand name (she won't tell me!) and I think they are MizMiz. Has anyone heard of this brand? Or does anyone know of an australian shoe company that starts with Miz? I don't think its MizMooz.. anyway, the shoes are super adorable and I hope I'm not being selfish posting this but seriously this is my last resort, I've been searching on and off for weeks now and nothing! Then I remembered there's quite a few australians over here so I'm just crossing my fingers someone can help me identify these shoes! Very Happy
Okay so I don't know if I can post the direct link to ebay so if you've got a second or want to see some super adorable sneakers ebay this title MODELS SECRET 8CM HIGH HEELS SNEAKERS
and please help me identify these! Btw, they are not actually like high heels sneakers, but more of a hidden heal inside the sneaker. sooo cute. Thanks everyone and I hope I'm not breaking any rules posting this .. ??

I've never seen them before, but I like em. If you get one tell me how comfortable they are.

I know, I should just cave and have the women order them in my size.. It just really irks me she won't tell me what brand they are. I wouldn't want to order the wrong size plus I like to research products I buy online, well.. online...

I'm most likely going to cave though and just have her buy them for me so I can order (although most likely I'll be paying a huge markup). If you look at the black ones I'm pretty sure it says the brand is mizmiz and something starting with an H under neith it. I figured this would be a shot in the dark.. but I at least had to try.. too bad no australians recognize em. Sad

Not Australian but am good with search engines so had a look and could only come up with Miz Mooz which they're not. My feeling is if these trainers are a genuine brand, they may be Japanese? Why not get them from her, after all you wouldn't have even known about them without her..why shouldn't she have her mark up. And they're not expensive.

Though, if they are a proper make, why wouldn't she want people to know the make, surely that would help her sell more for more dollars on Ebay. Personally I'd worry about them not being a proper make, and given they have an 8cm heel inside a shoe, not sure I'd take a risk with my posture/back. Certainly with other shoes with technology like MBTs they are careful, for example not selling them online as they want to make sure people are fitted properly and know how to walk in them as they can cause harm otherwise.

I know they're not expensive which is why I want to find them myself even more... I just never buy anything online without comparing prices. I hate throwing my money away. Normally I would just buy em from her since I've looked myself and couldn't find anything, but honestly, I didn't like how she treated me in our communication. I asked her if she would measure them for me toe to heel so I could order the right size and she flat out denied and said I just need to order my size. So to me honestly $80 (with s/h) is a lot of money for me to just waste on shoes that may or may not fit. If I knew for sure they'd fit I'd buy em in a heartbeat. So really I guess that's why I don't want to order from her plus like I mentioned, she won't tell me the brand.

I'm not worried about them hurting me since I have a bunch of the Guess brand high heeled sneakers already. I don't wear heels very often as it is so I think I'm okay with that.. ugh I've never had something this hard to find.. its like she's got a scanned picture from a catalogue as well.. you'd think these would be out there somewhere. Thanks for helping me look though! I appreciate it

oh my..there are TONS of high heeled/ wedge sneakers to look through in there!! Thanks for that link... I'm going to dig through there and see what I can find..

Has anyone heard of a shoe company that starts with HAN? Those are the three letters I see written underneith MizMiz

this is just so bizarre I can't find anything. I got all excited when I figured out the letters HAN but then when I looked it up, nothing. Sad

I can ask my hubby's Korean coworker where to buy in Japan but by the time you ship they will probably be as or more expensive than Aussie Ebay. Also sizing here only goes up to about 8.5 Aussie

hmmm.. Korean? Well I got lucky finding it in the Japanese Yahoo then. I've been searching forever for these shoes.

What size is 8.5 aussie.. is that the same as 8.5 US? I guess I have a lot more looking up to do...

Also, do you know where the shoes are on the stylemiz website? I can't find them.. maybe if I try doing the translate to korean instead of japanese that would help Laughing

Thanks for all of your help

PhoebesMeow, the sneakers are really cute. Where are you located? I'm in West Los Angeles and if you have a Asian neighborhood near you (we have Little Tokyo and Little Saigon here in So. Cal., among others) sometimes you can find these types of things easier.

The website you last posted looks great, but part of it is written in an Asian language (Korean? Japanese?) and I'm not sure how you'd go about ordering the shoes? How do you pick your proper size? Let me what how you find out!
I like the black ones (either style) and though I normally wear an 8 (narrow!), I wonder how these shoes would run size-wise?

I do think they are cute, but I wonder if they are comfortable. I hate being short (5 foot nothin'), but I also hate wearing heels.

Before you start measuring, I'd make sure they have an exchange policy. All shoes run different. Even the ones made by the same company, I swear.

*EDIT: I see at the bottom of the page they are wedged inside, they just don't appear so much on the outside. HMMM. So, they might be comfortable after all. Where's the english button!?

I'm in Chicago by the way MermaidGirl

Okay well I went to a conversion chart and I'm pretty confident I'll order the right size. I wear a 7.5 but do you guys think I should order an 8 since this is from a korean company? I think I should. I like the style A better than style B..

I will be the guinea pig and let u know if they're comfortable!

Btw, if I do happen to order the wrong size I'll just sell them on ebay and buy the right size. This is half the price of what the lady on ebay was asking so I'm happy with my digging around Smile

Oh, they have a chart. Good looking out! I'd say half a size bigger is better than half a size smaller Wink
Did you find out the shipping?

Okay I bought them.. I had to send a seperate payment by paypal. The total was $46.81.. not bad for shoes I was eyeing for $80!! I'm so happy. I got the brown ones in style A!

I can check the status of my order in a day or two it says. I will post when they come and if they fit and how comfy they are (or not). I got the largest size they offered. I wear a US 7.5 to 8.

Very Happy

Thanks Tiger for the hook up. Man there are many similar sneaker/wedge hidden heel type shoes on that site.

PhoebesMeow, that's great you got them for such a good deal. Now e-mail that lady, and let her know!

I might just buy something.... wish this barganing button worked!
