I have changed my skincare (yet again... ) and I have PSF Berry Beneficial Antioxidant serum (impossible to see how much is remaining - I'd have a good guess at 30%).
Also, PSF Emergen C Repair Serum 12% (90% remaining). I have only had this a month and it is the same colour as when I bought it).
PM me if you'd be interested in swapping.

I still really like it but I am a real bugger with skincare and have now moved onto Skin Actives (I use the SKB in Canvas Cream) and i have now got liquid BG.
With the Vitamin C, I am now using ALN Serum in the mornings under my SS - I was finding the wait time hard as I needed to leave for school. |

Blimey, I don't think I'd be giving up my C in favour of those. I do like the liquid oat BG and the ALA but I don't think they're half as proven in quelling the UV induced free radicals. Although the ALA boosts the C. I'm not sure it's as good as the C for that purpose alone.
Any thoughts anyone?
I'm hardly using the BB myself. Been having a bit of a rethink about anti-oxidant cocktails myself. I know all the actives have been proven individually, but I wonder if they are proven to work together or whether it's an overdose of actives or whether there are any conflicts? Plus I find it a tincy bit drying with the central heating on all the time. |

I think I'll keep using the Vitamin C (my skin likes it a lot but I thought I was doing it good by using the ALN instead).
I get very confused with which products are best for my skin.

I agree it can get very confusing what to know to believe with skincare
Ive just started on vitamin c again and really liking it,seems to have brightened my skin and it looks fresher.I use it every second day though as vit c lasts in the skin.
As far as wait times well ive just had to change my routine a bit in the am. I used to do a bit of tidying up before getting ready for work then wash face etc. Now i wash my face,apply vit c, go do a bit of house work for 20 min, then go back to my face |

I was just thinking that I needed to add a vit C serum to my routine. I would like to start with the PSF Emergen C.
Do I use this in the morning only? Not sure about the order of products in the morning, and/or how long to wait between each. Here's what I would use, in addition to the C serum:
* witch hazel toner
* sunscreen -or- moisturizer/sunscreen combo product
* MMU
If there's a thread already on this, please help me with a link -- I did a search, but so many hits came up with "vitamin C" in them that I I didn't know which would help me with the order/timing of each. Thanks. |

I think it's enough to use vit c serum once a day in the morning. How I use it is I always wait for my toner to air dry completely before applying my vit c serum. I then wait at least 15 minutes before applying my moisturizer. Once my moisturizer absorbs (usually takes about 5-10 minutes), I apply my sunscreen. The key to applying MMU is to make sure that moisturizer or sunscreen you use is fully absorbed before applying MMU. Otherwise, it gets cakey and goes on uneven. Hope that helps |

Thanks, andaman_gypsy. I keep reading that I should be adding vit C serum to my routine, especially since I'm in my 40's and don't have it in there already. So I guess I'll start with the PSF Emergen C that EDS carries. |
