I decided to use a first generation CP (GHK-Cu) on a surgery scar daily for remodelling purposes. Since I use Renova on the rest of my skin a couple days a week, how long do you have to wait to apply the CP product on the scar?
Also, is the GHK-Cu compatible with a product containing the ester form of Vitamin C since this is non-acidic? I use this on a couple of days when I dont use the Renova.
I am going to get the Neova brand cream and would prefer using the copper at night because I workout int the morning and dont want to sweat and shower it off at the gym or not be able to let it penetrate after showering before putting on my clothes ensuring its full absorption . Thanks |

Hi Monica,
I'm using the Neova brand right now as well. I put on my tazorac (retinoid) wait 30 minutes and then put the Neova brand on.
Btw, I'm not sure if I didn't understand your question about the c ester, but copper peptides cancel out vitamin C...so, you're suppose to use them on opposite ends of the day. |

It's like a game of chess this
Skincarefreak - you shouldn't use Renova at the same time of day as Neova (OMG even the names are too confusing) because the GHK molecule (unlike the Skinbio Generation 2 molecule) is hypersensitive to acids (e.g. Renova).
We were discussing this earlier in the Tangal PH and wait times thread. |

Really? I thought I shouldn't either, but then I read somewhere that I could can't remember where though...Anyhow, thanks Molly...good to know. |

Hi Monica,
Molly is right. I just received my sample of the Super GHK Serum and in the package there is a set of directions. It states, that you can use an exfoliating product but it has to be used an the opposite end of the day or another day. This was from Skinbiology. HTH |
