I'm thinking of trying Primavera Hydrating Cream. I am looking for a day cream that doesn't have any acids or sunscreen, one that I can use under sunscreen. My skin is pretty much normal and middle of the road, but during the colder and windy months, it gets a little drier.
I would love feedback on the finish of this, specifically whether it leaves a slick, slightly greasy, or shiny finish (say, like Dr. Hauschka Rose Creme). TIA! |

Saw your question. I have used the Primavera line for about 2 years, and really liked their results. Their basic hydrating creme was fine for me - the one for dryer skin (the harmony one, I think it was called) was a bit much, but was OK for winter. (I have combination skin). They were not oily, were light, absorbed well and felt quite pleasant. |

I love Primavera's Hydrating cream. I used to use it before switching to Dr H's Rose Day Cream which is richer and more similar to Primavera's Nourishing cream. I really liked the texture, the easy absorption, the scent, and the excellent organic and biodynamic ingredients. Primavera's company as a whole greatly impressed me. The only downside is that it is much more expensive than Dr H here in Canada as we only have one retailer that sells it. Wish EDS would carry the line as I'm sure they're prices would be more competitive and so much better. |
