I'm so happy to just finish my 50ml jar of Valmont Renewing Pack.
The only jar of cream that I used up for the first time in my beauty junkie life.
So you know how good it is and how I'm so pleased with it.
I must tell you if there is only one thing I am allowed to pack with me before moving to Mars, Valmont Renewing Pack will be it.
It's " the It Cream". Use it everytime your skin behaves badly. Use it everywhere and anywhere you need. Use it everytime and anytime you want to feel happy with balanced, clear, bright skin, even around your eyes and your lips. Use it on the zits to tame down the red. I use it to mosturize my zits that can become so dry, so flaky, so hurt after many "intensive treatments". Use it late at night before going to bed. Use it early in the morning after washing your face. Use it in the middle of the day after lunch and before going back to the the board meeting. You will be glad you have it with you.
I'm placing my order today for my next jar of "WONDER CREAM" and I just found out that with this order I can get a bonus of a smaller jar( not too small, 30ml) of Valmont Renewing Pack.
I love what EDS do to my skin. Life is still very very good! |

Hello Rose,
You will be very happy with this IT CREAM, especially if you love roses and the beautiful fragrance. I think that what it is, the smell and the texture of the cream only can bring joy to your skin. I use it to comfort myself when I'm sad or under stress . The most wonderful thing about this cream is it never leave your skin with a greasy residue. Your skin just drinks it all up and looks so smooth and so radiant right after that. I put it on at night before going to bed and when I wake up sometimes in the middle of the night, I can't help but touch my face and feel so happy and confident that I will wake up with happy skin in the morning ( I'm so vain, am I?).
I'm glad I can share this experience with you girls and guys |

So sweet, babyfish and not vain at all
I happy you like this so much. I have it too, but I only used it once since I believe I am allergic to one of its ingredients
I also have other Valmont products and they all seem to do the same for me while my fiancee loves them and his skin looks very good.

Babyfish,
Thanks to all the wonderful reviews about the Valmont Renewing Pack, I succumb and splurged on it. Well, what can I say- you are all totally right
Sometimes you read reviews and wonder if it will work for your skin, this stuff is truely fantastic.I put it on last week when I had a terrible cold to try and make myself at least look better. My face felt and looked great even though the rest of me felt awlful.

haha.. babyfish!! Really love your confidence
No, I havent got a chance trying it out! Recently, I am more addicted to the La Bella Donna mineral makeup and eye shadows and have put that away for a while, plus I know that I will be traveling to Singapore in the Summer, thought I would try get some later .. hehe .. it's a better deal buying there!
I have a question for you. So, how long does a 50ml jar of Valmont Renewing Pack last? It's tempting to try, but it's expensive!! How did you learn about this product, did your mom introduce this to you? I remember that your mom is a skincare guru.. , Also, how does EDS decide whether to give a gift with a purchase? I know they offer a gift for some purchases over a certain amount of money, but what interested me was they dont do this for all lines? I wish they would!

I have to say, I got a sample of this at the weekend, and I tried it and was soooo excited, and I didnt see anything different at all. In fact it just turned my cheeks extremely rosey. Disappointed you bet. Wont dwell on it too much cause I know this product has a huge fan base out there. |

I just tried it for the first time last night. I left it on overnight and this morning my face looked even tone and glowing. BUT, I find that it does the same thing as Sonya Dakar Omega 3 oil and for a cheaper price!
I need to know who has tried both and do you think it was comparable? |

I haven't tried the Sonya Dakar Omega 3 oil but the Valmont Renewing Pack is one of my fave products. Of course, now after reading your post I really want to track down the SD and do a bit of a comparison... This is unlikely since I haven't seen it in Australia but I'd love to hear what others think. |

I agree Mabsy. I need to hear from someone who tried both.
I think Sonya Dakar Omega 3 oil would fade faster because Valmont is a cream.
Still, I need to hear from others who tried both. |

it's true, it really works!
skin = glowing
tone = even
not shiny
perfectly moisturized
feels revitalised, exhilarating
for me, osea's white algae mask does the same thing as valmont's RP, but is also has the added benefit of a clay-algae base, which also tightens the skin quite a bit. but i adore both of these products, and feel so lucky to have them at my disposal!

I bought this cream in the spa bulk size of 200mL for $200US plus shipping because of all the reviews. It feels nice but I'm wondering if it actually repairs anything. I'll list the first part of the ingredient list:
water, mineral oil, propylene glycol, sodium dna, calcium dna (does this actually sink through the pores?), menthyl lactate (http://www.ewg.org/reports/skindeep2/report.php?type=INGREDIENT&id=480), hydrolyzed rna, urea, carbomer... after this, it's a whole bunch of things I can't pronounce or recognize and the last ingredient is citral benzl benzoate. Somewhere in between are several forms of parabens including methylparaben, butylparaben, ethylparaben, isobutylparaben- I thought people didn't like parabens?!!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paraben
I think my face feels just as smooth after applying drugstore urea cream on my face and washing it off with warm water. If you google urea, it's noted as a skin softener. Valmont smells much nicer but the end result seems to be the same because the smooth feeling doesn't seem to last.
I have Cream de la Mer too. I'm just wondering why many expensive creams use mineral oil. Don't get me wrong, I really like the feel and the smell of this renewing pack but I can't help but feel ripped off when I can get similar results for alot cheaper. |

P.S- This product actually makes me think of days long ago when women would put ponds cold cream on before bed. There's the illusion the cream is doing something (use of menthyl lactate is for the cooling, tingling sensation but it doesn't really do anything )but I can't help but wonder if it's doing more harm than good if you keep it on for too long. I was reading a post on skinbiology's site and Dr. Pickhart mentioned that stuff like cold creams actually causes the skin not to produce it's own moisture. I'm not sure if it's a valid theory or not but cold creams, just like Valmont contain mineral oil and carbomer too.
Just like many of you, I bought this cream too (and one that is 4X the size of the normal jar) I love the smell because it smells nostalgic to me and I would keep using it because I paid for it but I will definitely not buy this again. I am not a paranoid person and take all studies with a grain of salt however I prefer not to use a product that has so many carcinogenic and estrogenic ingredients. I'm not entirely sure but I suspect this was the product that gave me tiny zits. I was disapppointed with the cream but now I'm somewhat disgusted at myself for buying it after googling the individual ingredients. Unfortunately,I was unable to find the complete list of ingredients before I purchased this. |

angelina,
my skin tends to react instantly to mineral oil-based products; i cannot even use them on my body. but i have had instantaneous and consistent success with valmont... I hope what you got is actually valmont renewing pack, since it is bizarre to me that you think it feels like cold cream. it kind of smells like cold cream, but when i put it on my skin, it tingles and stings like crazy, and i can see all the blood rushing to the surface of my skin. it might just be menthyl lactate, as you say, but somehow the combination of all of these ingredients just does what you want it to do... anyways, because it does have mineral oil as a first ingredient, i only use it about once every two months, and i use the osea mask much more frequently. but i've never had a reaction from it, and i am prone to break out in little whiteheads from any product with mineral oil. I hope that helps, and sorry you are disappointed after such an expensive purchase!

I like many of Valmont's products, this Renewing Pack is definitely one of the MUST-have items -- very easy to be absorbed by the skin and make it supple and soft~~ |

I got a sample of the Valmont Renewing Pack in my last EDS order. LOVELY stuff! Would love to get another sample and give it another go....not sure if I would shell the money out for it...there are other good "revitalizers" at a much lesser price...Having said that, they aren't as luxurious and don't feel as lovely on the skin (the "other" Im talking about is Orlane's Morning Recovery Serum)...I'm not sure that the Valmont is any more effective...I think I need another sample of the Valmont!
