my cat scared me while i was doing it and ripped them all out.....will they all grow back and how long??? I have Revitalash and some of the Old JM in a tube....should i just use those on the skin to get them back faster? I look silly and feel so depressed....Has anyone heard of anyone doing this and did they grow back fast and did they all grow back? I noticed after i did it one follicle was bleeding! ouch...i look like a freak....i really don't like falsies, because i don't want to look unnatural....is there ones that will help to look very natural and I would need help applying cause i dont have much time in the morning! HELP!

I have total sympathy with you. A few years ago I was applying my make up whilst watching tv. I started to curl my eyelashes with my elbow resting on the edge of my leather sofa...suddenly my arm slipped and I inadvertently ripped out most of the upper eyelashes from my left eye. At the time I was absolutely mortified. Fortunately within about a month they had already started to grow back nicely.

Needless to say I have never since rested my elbow on any piece of furniture whilst curling Rolling Eyes .

I also use Revitalash & I am sure that would help. I also take Rich's MSM daily & I have noticed since taking this supplement that when I lose lashes they grow back at a quicker rate

I don't know much about growing lashes back, however, depending how bad it is you might feel better using false lashes at least some days until your old lashes start to grow back. Wet n Wild actually makes some that are very cheap and natural. The strip that you glue to your eyelid is clear instead of black, and the lashes are short and more sparse than normal falsies so they look quite natural. I wore them out with my friend the other day and she didn't even notice that I had them on (and she notices everything makeup-related). You can also just trim them to fit your gap to make things easier. HTH!

wow, why don't they all make the strip clear??? I've been using the individual clumps of 3 because I'm not good enough to get that stupid black strip totally even along my lash line...I'm going to have to check the WnW out!

ow! That sounds like it must have hurt something fierce. I never once thought I could do that...but I also rest my elbow when I do it...I think I'm going to change that.

I think that manslayerliz has the best temporary solution. Also, I wouldn't see why your lashes wouldn't grow back. We shed lashes all the time, and if they never grew back, we'd all be lashless!!!

Please keep us updated!
Hugs to you!

-Taking different supplements like BioSil(silica), MSM, B5 and Biotin could help speed up things.

Do absolutely use one or both of the serums, if you're not already! And the natural looking falsies sound great Smile I'm sure they will grow out nicely.

Momtwin, so sorry to hear this! I feel for you. After my lash extension ordeal, my lashes became so thin and sparse, I looked bald. I bought some ginseng serum from an ebay vendor, and that helped them to grow back thicker and fuller but not too much longer. I was actually looking to buy Talika when I came across the ginseng serum. I wouldn't recommend that you go and buy the ginseng serum, as I see you already have RL. But be careful with the bleeding follicle. You'll want to make sure it's healed up before you put RL or JM on it.

When I was feeling particularly bald, I went out and bought a pair of false lashes. I still don't know to this day how to apply them. They sucked! So if you don't know how, I'd say just save your money, wear sunglasses when you go out, and just try not to look in the mirror too closely. They will grow back, and probably more lustrous. Maybe you should give away the cat, too, so she can't scare you again. J/K

Oooh, I feel for you! I did something similar when I was 18yo, funny story.

I was out at a night club, had a few Tom Collins drinks and had to pee. Went to the bathroom, took care of business and decided to touch up my makeup and curl my lashes since my eyes were looking a bit like half staff. Obviously my coordination was off since I squeezed the lash curler and then pulled it away before I opened it, LOL! I had long, thick lashes and my lid was totally bald from the inner corner to the middle of my eyelid and very, very noticeable. I went back to the table giggling like crazy and showing my girlfriends what I did. I wore half a false eyelash for a couple of months and NEVER did that again, LOL!

I'm so sorry for you! I can't add to the wonderful advice others have already given, but I'm sending grow fast and thick vibes to your poor lashes. Good luck!

Sorry to hear this. This happened to me before, that's why I don't use a curler anymore. It took about 3 months to grow back out. I didn't wear any falsies that time, but to avoid looking awkward I wore eyeliner.. I hope your eyelashes will grow back soon with RL. Sad

I've done the same thing and only got the first third of my eyelashes. It hurt like the devil and I just waited for them to grow back, which they did in a few months. The lesson learned was to pay attention and not multi-task while curling eyelashes.

Thanks everyone for your advice....I started using the JM every night and morning to give it a jump start on growing. I am taking a multi, msm, biotin and ultranourish hair vitam. from GNC. I think I'm gonna use black eyeliner when i go to work or go out...I've tried falsies and never got the hang of it and don't have the time in the AM to hassle. I see some follicles protruding, but I'm sure those where already on thier way...the one's pulled will proably take longer to start coming out. My son said that he would pull his out to make me feel better...LOL How cute! Thank god I don't have a wedding or something big to go to soon...I would have to have falsies put on it that was the case. I'm trying not to think about all this, but its hard not to! Crying or Very sad

I have been using the talika lipocils lately and even though i have quite long eyelashes i have noticed that they have grown even longer so much that everyone keeps complmenting me about them try getting some of that and as soon as you see a little bit of regrowth start applying it and they should grow back alot quicker.
