I am new to this site, It is just wonderful, been reading for many hours. I have very thin undereye skin, I used to have very dark undereye circles for a very long time, I tried the Gelatin Circle Buster receipe, It has helped a lot, alomost 60% gone. I apply it everyday for 30 minutes. since this area is becoming light, skin is very thin, lots of lines and crows feet are noticable. Please help!! |

Hello babydoll07,
Are you saying that your previous eye cream took cared of the dark under-eye circles well and now you need something that can increase the thickness ? Retinol products do help thicken the skin but you have to start with low percentage around the eye area. If you are into DIY products, I think Katee's Eye Potion includes ingredients that help thicken eye skin too. Do a search on the forum.
I hope this helps.
Btw, welcome |

Hi, thanks!! Nothing ever helped with the Dark circles, except Gelatin. I will do a search for that thread. Is there any where to get Retinol higher percentage than the oridnary creams? One more thing any DIY lightening creams that one can make to have a lighter skintone? |

Well done on improving your dark circles problem!
As Wild Cat wrote, I'd be very careful about using too strong a retinol product at first. Definitely best to build up gradually from a small amount applied occasionally. Otherwise, you could end up drying out your undereye area and making it irritated and even more wrinkly-looking.
Try a search on Avene Ystheal. That's a popular one around here. |

Hi babydoll,
I wasn't looking for a thickening effect, but i found that PSF stimucoll C eye serum thickened my lids quite a bit that i had to stop using it on my upper lids.
I didn't pay much attention to my undereye area but imagined the same thing happened except i didn't stick with it long enough to notice the bottom thickening. I am starting to use the stimucoll c again so i will let you know if i see any effects.

Hi!!!Thanks Everyone!! Is there any DIY recipe one can make to increase the collagen in this area? I see CareKate has posted very helpful inof in this forrum, Is there anything she can make or look into it? I am going to start with low retinol cream first. When I laugh the wrinkles around my eyes are many, that worries me. |

OMG, I'm exactly like you. So I need to pay attention to this thread! Hopefully there'll be more good advice. |
