Is it just me, or do you not know what light switch operates what light in your home? I find that even after six years of living in my house, I still mess it up. For instance, near my front door, there is a light receptacle with three switches on it. I was trying to turn the outside lamp post on, and even though I've done it a jillion times, it still took me the THIRD try to get the right switch! For some reason my brain can't retain the whole which-switch-goes-to-what-light thing.

Same here. We've been here 6 1/2 years and there's a 3-switch plate next to the sunroom. I just flip them all at once to get the outside light on without testing one after the other. |

Yup. Except I've lived in this house for nigh on 13 years. (My brain lives in a happy little world of its own, where the location of lightswitches is of no importance.) |
