Anyone use this line....any reviews negative or positive and/or recommendations would be appreciated
Also, can I buy this line at all Shopper's Drug Marts or just certain ones (in Vancouver)? How are they for returns if I don't what I buy? |

Hi! I love Smashbox Photofinish primer, it is a clear silicon based gel that is slightly mattifying and makes your foundation glide on with extra slip, but stays on during the day a bit longer before needing powder( I have oily/combo skin).
I really like their eyeshadows, they slip on with quite dense powder pigments (not quite as brilliantly as Stila but close) and their blushers last well over the day too before fading. I have tried the Seamless foundation in Bisque but wish I had bought Ivory as it was a bit too dark( I am pretty fair) and I found it a bit too moist for my liking but drier skins might like it. Medium coverage.
Their lipglosses are really nice... light texture, silky... and NO flavour whatsoever. The only bad thing is the size of the tube, too small!
Umm... Blonde Browtech... mmm so so... wasnt the best, I prefered Mirenesse's Eyebrow mascara...I think my brows are a bit skimpy for it perhaps.Colour wise fine... I have dark blonde/light brown hair.
I didn't like the 2 ended lip and lid primer... I so thought I would but found it a bit drying and didn't make anything last longer, either lipstick or eyeshadow when I used it to the days that I didnt. Nice enough, just didnt do anything I could see.
I dont know about Canadian purchases as I am in Australia and got it from our shopping channel, TVSN which has a 30 day money back thing, so that's good. I have always kept my Smashbox things though! |

I've liked everything I've tried.
Browtech, creme blush, eyeliner, primer, shadows, lip gloss, lip colour, all seem to be pigment dense so a little goes a long way, the one thing I haven't tried is the foundation. |

• I’ve tried both the anti-shine compact and the anti-shine product in the tube – both were useless;
• I adore their cream eyeliners, Smashing Purple is this green-eyed girl’s everyday holy grail;
• I love the Browtech powder/wax duo (Brunette), except for the fact that you run out of wax before you even begin to make a dent in the colored brow powder. They need to reconfigure the packaging so that it’s 20% powder and 80% wax, rather than 50/50;
• I adore the Smashbox Lip Emulsion exfoliant product – best store-bought lip scrub that I’ve ever tried;
• I like their little kit with mini-sizes of the Smashbox lip glosses, but they need more colors (where the hell is the peach or coral shade??) and the tubes are tiny for the price you pay (similar to Lola’s “Gloss Menagerie”);
• Wasn’t impressed by their lip stain/gloss duo (like one of those Revlon “Overtime” lip things, or Max Factor’s Lipinfiniti);
• Recently feel in love with their tinted Lip Treatments (click here for full review: http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=8691)
ETA:
• Also hated the double-sided eye/lip primer. Lip-side was way too drying, eye-side didn't keep my eye shadow from melting/sliding off within an hour of application. |

I like most everything except the creme liner! it doesn't last at all on me and I told the marketing dept as I use to be on the press list for gratis. I love the brow tech in Auburn, I like the liquid foundation, the silk powder, some of the lip colors are great and LOVE Palm Beach lip liner as it goes with sooo much! Media was d/c but I own alot of that pencil! I love the blender brush, forget the number. The softlights are great for glow and the blushes are pretty heavily pigmented. I own alot of softlights/blushes. Eyeshadows are soft/pretty too! Soooo I like most of the line EXCEPT the one most popular item, creme liners. |

Ok, sounds like good stuff
I am thinking about getting the wet/dry powder foundation, the skinlights and the skin tint. What exactly is the difference between the skinlights and skin tint. I know one is cream and the other powder but in terms of coverage/sheerness/ease of application
I want light flawless coverage with a glow....so maybe the foundation with skinlights over top??? |

I've never tried to return to shoppers so just ask first. Also, you can only buy it at the yaletown and dunbar stores. If you do buy from theshoppingchannel.com you have 30 days to return it.
I really like the photofinish primer, browtech, creme eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipgloss, lip liner, and blushes. I also like the foundation but finds it does slip a bit later in the day b/c of my oily skin.
The only products I haven't liked are: lash primer, mascara and transparancy creme blush. |

I have only tried one product from them...however I loved it...it was their eyeshadow converted liquid...u can turn any powder eyeshadow into a liner using it or a wet looking eyeshadow. It works better than using water and stays on better. if you get it a little goes along way...i totally wasted mine |
