That clear powder sunscreen from colorscience that keeps popping up on the front page of EDS looks intriguing, but does anyone know the UVA rating of it? This summer I think it would be awesome to have my sunscreen arsenal include waterproof spray ones and a powder one in addition to the usual goop.

The colorscience page says that it's a 30. But I haven't tried it. I've been considering it though....

I can't tell you the exact UVA rating but can tell you that it is 12% Zinc Oxide and 12% Titanium Dioxide.

I personally could not stand this stuff. If you really want to give it a try they have small shaker jars available atwww.coolibar.com so at least if you do not like it you won't be out the 50 bucks for the full size. Here is my old review of it.

I can see why people don't like it since it has a drying effect, but I live in a hot and humid environment so I think it is really nice.

Has anyone finally try the powder sunscreen? Is it worth trying?

How about the "perfect clear" which seems to be tinted? Does it suit everyone skintone?

I've been using this for a while now and really like it. I have it in my purse for afternoon touch-ups on my way home from work (or if I'm running out at lunch). It's easy to apply (sometimes I'm not sure how much is coming out of the applicator so I'll give it a slap against my hand and all the product goes flying! Must stop doing that Smile ). I have it in "All Clear" and I would definitely consider repurchasing it.

It sounds really good and convenient. I would like to try the tinted one. Have anyone try? Is the color suit everyone?
