I read postsecret.com a lot. Every Sunday new secrets are posted. Some are lighthearted, some will break you heart. Some are so gosh darn intriguing, you want more. This is one of those.
Notice...ALL the faces are celebrity men! This is a good secret!!!

I recently visited a friend, and she had the "post secret" book, and I definitely found it to be hugely intriguing! I don't know why it didn't occur to me to look at their website, but thanks for posting it, Paris!
I agree...this one IS a good secret! Hmmm...wonder which one the daddy is?

I have the website bookmarked and make sure I check it every week.
Warning though...some secrets are devastating...and make you feel helpless. There was one postcard that said on the back was a copy of the suicide note that they were sending to their guidance counselor because the counselor would know how to tie up the loose ends afterwards
But you can leave feedback on the secrets...sometimes it helps people just to hear there is someone who cares out there.
It's a wonderful website...it has ties to a suicide help line...for those that need help. |

That's good to know about being able to leave feedback on the secrets. I agree that sometimes all these people need is to know that they matter to someone out there.
Anyway...thanks again for posting about this. It really is a wonderful site!

The point is that people confess secrets anonymously. Sort of to clear your conscious.
If they weren't true, what fun would the website be?
Some are intense.
Someone confessed to a murder once. |

I read Post Secret every Sunday and have for a long time. Oftentimes if I'm on the computer at midnight, I'll run over to see if Frank has put up the new series of Sunday secrets. He's not so good anymore about getting them to post right as it turns over from Saturday night to Sunday morning!
I think the thing that's interesting about Post Secret is that so many of the secrets are things I find to be common threads that run through everyone's life so we can all relate to much of what others are going through (except, of course, having some random celebrity as your baby daddy or confessing to a murder!).
Paris (oh, I'm sorry - Piffy!), when I saw the secret about the celebrity baby daddy, my first thought was "big whoop! They probably ALL have a secret, illegitimate child somewhere!" |

Ever since chancing upon that site like a while ago, I've bookmarked it to check back and see what's new from time to time. Makes me feel rather like a voyeur but oh well, too interesting to stop |

That site is really intriguing. I first learned about it after seeing The All American Rejects "Dirty Little Secret" on VH1, and thinking - are those postcards for real? Then come to find out there's a whole web devoted to them. Some of the confessions are heartbreaking - and some are downright scary.

I'm addicted to the post secret website. New ones posted every Sunday. I've waited around like a shark on Saturday night to get to see them! Lol |

Thanks so much for sharing this website. I'd never heard of it and love it because I feel like you get a small glimpse into people's minds. It will now be part of each of my lazy Sunday mornings. |

I had heard of this site but never checked it out. Thanks for the reminder, I think its a great idea especially for people who want to tell someone their secret but can't. The internet is full of cool stuff like this and I don't feel nerdy saying that at all. |
