Maybe this is none of my business, and if so then I'm sorry, but I'm feeling quite confused: I've noticed that at least 3 people have changed their forum names recently. The name changing makes it harder for me to navigate the forum because I can't keep track who's who, whose questions I've answered, who has used which products, etc etc. So, my question is simple: why all the name changing, ladies?

I've changed the screen name recently as my previous one was exactly the same as the name I used to access my account when I purchase products from EDS, along with my other important accounts, etc. So, I thought I'd better be safe than sorry and change it to something else. I still leave my name on my posts so people know it's me.

I apologize for all the confusions. But please understand I felt uncomfortable about using my previous name. I just didn't think about it when I signed up for EDS as my initial intention was just lurking around to see what products people raved about.

Whoa...I missed that one!
I hadn't realized. I obviously can't tell when people do it!

I will be hence forth known as the Girl Formerly Known as ParisTroika.

Then after that I'll just be P Troika...then P Diddy Troika...and then Piffy Tonka.

I didn't even realise that you could change your screen-name - I do kind of wish I'd thought about it a bit more before I chose mine I must admit!

I didn't know you could change names either, and wondered why it was that all these 'new' people had been around for so long but I didn't know any of them. I am totally confused now!

I think some people think they're not going to be on here for long (little do they know! Bad Grin) so they choose whatever (like I did Smile) and then perhaps regret it after they figure out that they want to stick around? Some make the mistake of using their real-name and decide it wasn't a good idea.

Some get accidentally locked out of the forum by following troubleshooting advice from a certain moderator (still sorry about that Tiger_tim Embarassed ) and have to create names like Tiger_tim's_shadow for a while Embarassed

Well slap me I didn't know anybody had changed names. Embarassed
I just thought there were new people I liked. I thought of pooh lisey affectionately like Winnie the Pooh. I am going to have to try harder to keep up. Laughing

Maybe we should start a thread "Formally Known As", and if you change your name post the old and new. This was all news to me, I seem to sleep thru everything! Sad

rofl - and now I love my screen name even more! I always think of "Good golly, miss Molly" so I've pictured you as kind of a 50s chick. Am I close?
