So coincidental that I was just about to order (for the third time) the PSF hydrating eye cream that I love, but had an email touting this new one. Sounds very good, so...you know what happened next....I had some money floating around in paypal that was just itching to be spent, plus there is a 15% discount through 2/4, so I went for it.
Will report in after I have a go at it.
I need serious help. I'm just not happy unless I'm awaiting a package.

I received a sample of this with my last order. It really is hydrating, I don't have dark circles or much puffiness so can't comment on its effectiveness, but if you are after a product that is really hydrating its well worth trying. |

I'd like to know as well. Is this an eyecream or an eye treatment? |

I think it's both. It's very hydrating, but I haven't posted a review yet b/c the jury's still out....I like it, but not in love as yet...but it is growing on me. It absorbs quickly, keeps my eyes hydrated, but I'm waiting for the "OH WOW" moment....I use Candy's "Eye'll Be Seeing You" alternately and that is just as hydrating. I see that PSF doesn't have the original eyecream on their website anymore, so this must have taken its place. I have a lot more to go in the bottle, so we'll see if my impressions improve when it's almost gone. It's not heavy either which I like (okay, why does this sound like a review?! ).
I haven't used it on my lips, but I have used it above my lips as I have one teeny lip line, and I will say, it takes the appearance of it away immediately....

I'm a bit confused. Wasn't their eye cream before called exactly this? In fact I have a sample container in my bathroom still that says "Super Hydrating Eye Treatment" and I've had it for ages...
What am I missing here? ![hmm](images/smiles/017.gif) |

Since their is no sign of the old eye cream, it looks from their site that they just updated the packaging and improved the ingredients (e.g., added a light retinol). I think PSF should put a notice on the product/Web site that the product has been improved so that people with sensitivities or allergies can look at the ingredients again instead of assuming that it's the same product.

Yes, you make a good point! It's sort of a shame that they added a light retinol to this. I was quite sure that this cream resulted in an improved health of my lashes. I don't think I'd be applying it this close with retinol in it... I hope maybe they will have two versions? |

Hi everyone,
I hope you don't mind me popping in on this thread, but I've received a couple of PM's asking me to clarify the ingredients in the eye cream. Actually, it is the exact same formula, except for the added Hylexin peptides & the soy-rice peptides & oxidoreducatses. This eye cream always had a light retinol in it - that has never changed. I will tell the webmaster to put up a notice that this product has a new formula (although it's been the new formula since like December I think!) LOL!
Actually we will be putting up a new E-commerce site within the next few weeks, so there will be many positive changes to the website.
Sorry for rambling!
Cheers,
Darren

thanks! i know you should always wear sunscreen, but since there's a light retinol in this, does that mean you really need to wear an spf if you use this in the day?
also, can you use this on your lips to help with dryness and lines? |

Does that mean I would have to wear sunscreen on my eye area every day if I decided to use this? Have there been any reports on irritation due to retinol? |

Well, I would suggest wearing a sunscreen everyday regardless of whether you use retinol or not. But the level of retinol in the eye cream is very low & safe for the eye area.

No, there have been no complaints of irritation that I know of. Again, the level of retinol is very low since it is an eye product.

Ok...so it is an eyecream. Good because that's what I've using it as. The retinol isn't irratating at all. Believe me I would know, since I'm so sensitive to uv rays. I do have a question for Darren though...what are the Hylexin peptides? |

Oh sorry....it is actually Haloxyl peptides. It's a mix of Chrysin and a peptide blend of Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7. It is the active ingredient in Hylexin. I always mix them up!

Darren, thanks for clarifying, and for putting an update on the site. I thought it was the retinol that was new. I'm scared to ask what oxidoreducatses is...
