I think if you buy samples, the price would be more decent. |

I had a few samples. It is a very nice cream, I didn't get any irritations or any adverse reactions. However, it did nothing exceptional for my skin. I will not buy it at this price. |

I had got a sample of this through the NM beauty week last year. As long as I was using the sample, my skin just glowed; it was a lot more luminous. Also have to add that it was cosmetically very elegant with a beautiful fragrance.
And so i told DH what I wanted for Mother's day The cream worked for about 10 days, and then for a while did nothing for me, and then it started breaking me out. I still have a quarter of the jar left..and now i have started mixing it with sea kelp for a light moisturiser. It doesen't break me out anymore, and I wake up with very calm skin, but I think that is more because of the seakelp than this cream.
I will not buy it again. |

Don't get me wrong...I'm addicted to skincare.
But when it gets this expensive I'd much rather go with a cheaper cream and buy either (for that money):
A new pair of Chanel Sunglasses
OR
A new Large Coach bag
OR
A Louis Vuitton wallet (or other small leather good from LV)
OR
A Louis Vuitton Pouchette Accessoires
OR
Even an LV silk scarf
OR
An Ipod (with money left over!)
OR
Two Tiffany bracelets
OR...you get the picture.
Some don't mind spending the money on creams that may work...but for myself I cannot possibly justify spending this amount when you can find something that works just as well, if not better, for a fraction of the cost. Take La Mer for instance...no reason to pay that amount when you can go to Skin Actives and buy the active ingredient for 15 bucks!
I'd definitely buy a sample before you go all out...even if people say it's God's gift to women, cooks meals for you, and does the dishes after...you NEVER know how you yourself will react. It would suck to be out that amount of money.
I saw they had samples for 15 bucks (they looked really small, maybe buy two to give it a good whirl) on ebay. Get a sample if you can! |
