Hi,
This is my first time posting here...but I've been browsing this board for a few days now. I have really dry skin especially on my face. Some friends of mine recommended that I try the Cellex-C sea silk moisturizer...and some of my other friends suggested I should try Linacare Transforming Face Cream. I'm leaning more towards the Linacare right now...but I was wondering if any of you have heard anything about these 2 products and could maybe offer some advice?
Thanks sooo much

Sea Silk is a great moisturizer, but it is more gear towards those with oilier skin. It is very light. I do not know very much about the Linacare line, but I love Cellex-C. If you have very dry skin, Sea Silk is not the Cellex-C product for you to try. You should try their Seline-E Cream or G.L.A. Dry Skin Cream.

If you have dry skin then why not try something like Dr Hauschka Rose Day Cream? It smells just goregous, is all natural and very hydrating. You could also get a Dermalogica hydrating booster to go under your current moisturiser or get a Cellex-C hydration gel.

thx for the replies
I've started using the Linacare product as my friend got me some to start with. I'm liking the way it feels and it seems to work very well. It seems to keep me moist for the whole day.
I'm curious about that hydrating booster however. How does it work? |

The Hydration Booster is basically a clear liquidy gel that contains Hyaluronic Acid (fab for providing hydration to your skin). I think it also has some other "good" ingredients to help moisturisation. The most important is the HA though. I've got combo skin and I do use it sometimes (not all over but just the drier areas) - it is recommended for dry or super-dry skins though.

Thx so much for your help Mabsy.
I'll give that a try if I think I need it...but for now I'll stick with what I've got.
You should try some of the stuff I'm using too...I've used it for a few days now and it seems to work great. I don't feel dry during the day anymore. You probably want to stick with what you have...but if you have a chance...you should check it out. Hehe...I'm a newbie...it's my first recommendation
Thanks again Mabsy and also scootercat
