Wow, cool, I get an announcement! Laughing

My plan is to hang out with MACrisis and do some sightseeing and shopping (need to go to Sephora and pick up that new Mint Rosebud salve Wink). It would be nice to meet other LA EDS members and put a face to the name of the people that I have "known" for so long Smile

bkkgirl & c4ward - it'd be great to meet you, I'm sure we can organise something!

Mabsy, you got to hit Trader Joe's. It's a truly unique grocery store which I don't think you all got one in Australia yet. Smile

I've heard it mentioned here quite recently actually and wondered what it is. We don't have it here but it's definitely on the list of things to do now. Thanks! Smile

If you like wine or beer, they got GREAT prices on these. The people who work there are so nice and helpful, too. They go out of their way to smile and ask if you need any help. BUT they all wear a red or blue Hawaiian shirt. So if you're allergic to Hawaiian shirts, I suggest you take some anti-allergy meds before you visit TJ's.

Also, don't forget their Nourish Spa shampoo and conditioner. I am running out and will have to actually take a trip there tomorrow. :P

Sorry about that, I would have loved to have done that Sad My Poole plans got all stuffed up and I was sick for most of the trip.

I do actually have the LA flight booked though so nothing short of something tragic will stop this trip!

Thats OK. It would have been lovely to meet up but it isn't always easy. If I remember you ended up visiting more places than you originally planned.
Natalie & her BF were going to travel the whole of OZ but they have ended up staying in Adelaide since December. I think they are now going to save Perth until their next visit. Plans do have a habit of changing.

Nothing will stop your trip & you will have a fantastic time.

Hi MACrisis,

I was just wondering if you have a tentative itinerary/schedule for Mabsy's visit yet. I want to know if I should ask my bf to come over to Pasadena, or if I should go out to Westwood this weekend! Very Happy

Looking forward.

March 21 (Wednesday): Sephora, CVS, Walgreen, Trader Joe's

March 22 (Thursday): Cabazon Outlet

March 23 (Friday): Pasadena (Whole Food, Old Town), Malibu, Hollywood

March 24 (Saturday): Downtown LA or Costa Mesa / Newport Fashion Island or Westwood

This is temporary. We might go somewhere else on Wednesday and check Sephora, CVS, Walgreen, and Trader Joe's on different nights. It depends if Mabsy is still ALIVE after who knows how many hours flying time.

bkgirl: Most likely we are meeting with c4ward on Saturday. I don't know if you want to join us then?

Well, Friday in Pasadena is a possibility, except at lunch time, I have a company luncheon at Twin Palms from 12-3. Sad Are you planning to take Mabsy to Old Town Pasadena Friday night? (Please say yes! Smile )

Where are you meeting C4Ward on Saturday?

When will you be in Westwood on Saturday? Seriously UCLA is walking distance from my BF's place (only 1 mile away). I can go and meet you guys when you go to Westwood. Are you taking Mabsy to visit UCLA or just Westwood Village?

Hi ladies, if you wind up going to South Coast Plaza this Saturday let me know. I'm an Orange County girl and this could be a lot of fun!

To help persuade you to my cause... in addition to a Sephora and Vidal Sassoon salon, South Coast Plaza boasts one of THE BEST shopping spots for designer goods. Of course the prices aren't as good as Cabezon outlet, but you have to experience it just once! Smile

OMG.... I fly out in the morning - it's almost 10:30pm and I haven't started packing yet. Still trying to get some work finished.

MACrisis is about to see the worst packing job of the century. I also told her that I will have just one suitcase with me Laughing somehow I don't think that's going to happen. 3 months and 2 seasons to pack for - eeep!

Mabsy, you'd better start packing! You're exactly like me. I put off packing till the last minute. My boyfriend hates it. He packs way early and I help him. haha
