Hi all Smile

This is my first time starting a new topic and I'm gonna share with you all my experience with the MD skincare maximum moisture treatment.

I've been using this product for a week and ironically enough, it's been dehydrating my skin instead of moisturising it. Every day I woke up astounded with my dried up crumpled face. Took me a while to figure out what was causing it coz I just don't expect to get dried up from a moisturiser designed for dry skin. For the past couple of days, I've actually managed to pamper myself with a hydration mask daily which left me with supple and radiant skin before I went to bed. What I found is that within 5 mins of application of this moisturiser, all the water were sucked out from my skin, the appearance of hydrated skin from the mask immediately vanished.

Now I'm not sure why that's the case. I have rather dry skin in general but this has never happened to me before. I could be sensitive to one of the ingredients, mainly Vit A, Green tea extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Allantoin, Dimethicone as listed on the site (I've thrown away the box and instruction sheets after my first try Sad not a great move in hind sight). I remember that it contains Vit A, C & E so maybe it's a little drying..but yea, this drying effect didn't occur to me on my little test on my hand at the time of purchase.

So sad coz I really dunno what to do with this new moisturiser now and I have to look for something else again. I've been reading the forum on Vit C products but I'm scared that I'd get the drying effect again like this one even though this is more a cocktail of nutrients.

Has anybody else used this as well? How do you find it? Any recommendations perhaps on Vit-C serum?
