I live in Vancouver BC, so these are for those who live here.
Where can i get an international Visa good for China in the Vancouver Canada area? |

I thought that if a merchant accepts Visa, they should accept one from any part of the world. So I don't think you'd need a special international Visa card for China.
You can sign up for a Visa card from any bank, as long as you meet their credit requirements.
What you might want to do is call your Visa card provider's customer service line and let them know in advance that you will be traveling and will be using your credit card in China. This way, there's a less chance that they will block or hold your purchase. |

I thought it was travel visa until I read that reply. Just goes to show how two people can read the same thing & come to a totally different conclusion. Easy to see how arguments start. I will be interested to find out the correct question & answer. |

I thought it's the credit card. You don't need a visa to go to China if you're a Canadian citizen. I thought she meant a visa credit card from china so she doesn't have to pay the service charges from the exchange rate... |

I travel alot to the states and my bank told me last week that I could get a US credit card that could only be used for US purchases and I would get straight exchange. Maybe your bank has one like it for use in China? |
