I am going through a SERIOUS spring cleaning, mostly of my cosmetics & skincare stuff. I was about to throw out an old, sub-standard kabuki brush today when I realized it was exactly the type of thing I've been looking for to dust knick-knacks and glass items. It's so small I can really get into the nooks and crannies and I don't have to worry about knocking anything over as with my large duster. I'm always trying to recycle things for other uses and thought you all might appreciate this one. I would love to hear if anyone else has found new uses for items no longer useable for the face or body. |

You might also find that an old make-up brushe (that have been cleaned of course) is really good for getting the last bits out of a coffee grinder. |

My old make-up brushes I use for household stuff... Such as cleaning jars that have bottle-necks etc... Or those really small ones I'll go use them as paint brushes or donate them to my cousins to play make-up with |

i have never think of recycling my used brush until i came to this thread. i think its a good idea to recycle it rather then just throw it away. |

Nice tip, Salli. I use my coffee grinder to grind spices, so getting it cleaned out is important if I don't want to have curry flavored coffee!
Here's another idea--use an old brush to dush off your laptop screen. They seem to attract dust like magnets, don't they? |
