I am rather new to this whole taking super good care of my skin thing and luckily have gotten my so far on being young but I do show more age than I have by having not taken care of my neck. I have some pretty intense wrinkles and I was wondering if I could use a retinol or retinoid (not sure if there is a difference between the two) on my neck or something stronger. I have just started experimenting on my neck with vit c and am having pretty good results, aka mini forehead lines gone and eye crinkles disappearing so now I am focused on getting rid of those wrinkles on my neck. Are retinol products the way to go and if so what should I use and how? If not, other suggestions? Thanks! |

Which brand of Vit C serum do you use?
ETA: I'm pretty bad about forgetting my neck, too. However all the moisturizing lotion for the face or night treatment would tell you to apply it on your neck as well as your face. So whatever you use on your face that works well for you should work on your neck, too. I'd also recommend using DMAE serum to firm things up. |

i'm still young but i'm add dermalogica's skin renewal booster to my decleor's essential balm when i use it on my neck to prevent any wrinkles and lines. i may switch to something to treat wrinkles soon even though i don't have any significant neck lines or wrinkles. |

I am using IS Clinical's super serum (as well as their active serum). I don't really know if I need DMAE because I don't have loose skin or sagging or anything else that would correspond to my understanding of what a firming product is used for. I will definitely use my face creams on my neck, as well as SS.
dsq let me know if and when you decide to start using something what it is. Also how do you like the skin renewal booster?
Thank you both for your responses! |

You really should not be experiencing wrinkling at the age of 22, gigiab6.
In addition to your choosing skincare products, you might also want to check the effectiveness of your sunscreen, whether you are adequately hydrating (i.e. are you drinking enough water to balance out natural diuretics like caffeine and alcohol), your diet, your lifestyle (i.e. if you smoke, that's going to absolutely wreck your skin), etc. You may find that that is where your problem lies. |

Katee, I am assuming they are wrinkles, they almost look like stretch marks but on my neck. I will try to take a picture and you can let me know if they aren't wrinkles and if you, or anyone, have any ideas I would appreciate it. Thanks! |

I have a little neck lines too. But I don't think they are results of aging, because they appear in my childhood and I am still in early 20's. I guese these lines are not wrinkles and may not be fixed.
Any one knows what these lines really are? |

Katee? Do you use Julie's HA soylift for just your eye area or do you put it on all over your face. Are you still loving that product? Thanks. |

I use it around my eyes, between my eyebrows (the kind of feathered upward), along my nasolabial lines (which are no longer visible - YAYYYY), and on my neck. Still loving the effects... |

Your neck needs exfoliation just like your face does. Try a microdermabrasion cream like Epidermx.
I also think that Ice Elements' Anti-Aging Serum and Edelweiss Serum have a definite firming effect. |

Where do you get HA soylift and what skin type does it work for? I have just stopped using a too rich skin cream that was making both my face and neck break out. Thanks! |
