I'm curious...does anyone watch a large amount of topics? I get going sometimes and suddenly I have two pages of watched topics and tons of email notifications in my inbox. Then I go through and carefully choose which topics I still want to keep up with and cull my list. Then before I know it I'm up to several again!

Do you watch topics at all? Why or why not?
How many? I'm watching about 20 right now (I just cleaned out my list!)

Very Happy

I hadn't even thought to look until now but I have 32. Definitely time to cut that.

I am watching two but I always forget to check anyway so there isn't much point for me. I forget about this function & spend hours looking for the ones I am interested in.
Note to self.. use watch function.
Thanks for reminding me.

Anytime I reply to a topic, my little "notify me when a reply is posted" box is already checked...I think this is what adds it to my watched topic list. I never click on the "watch this topic" link at the bottom of a thread.

I'm watching 11 right now. I recently joined the forum and am learning about all these great products that I never heard of and I want to totally revamp my routine and try them all, but am still trying to decide on which ones would be the best for my skin.

I think I have 3 on my watch list, but most of the email notifications go to my Junk folder for some reasons. The only one that makes it to my Inbox is the notice of a new PM.

Then every once in a while I'll get a notice on the Revitalash thread but that's the only one.

ETA: Ooops after I posted, I went to the Watched Topics section and found I actually got 10 topics there. I guess I never noticed the email volume b/c they all went to the junk folder.

LMAO!! Laughing Laughing I have 7 pages of watched topice. Every time I reply to a topic, it adds to my list. I've also added some others that I wanted to keep track of. I guess it's time to clean it out when I have a few spare hours.

I am quite new to this, so far I only got 4 watched topics. I haven't had the habit to save topics to "watched" list yet. I think the search function in this site works pretty well so sometimes you can just do a quick search to get the topic you want to see again instead of put it in your own list. Of course that does take a bit of extra time, but I guess if I have to go through serveral pages to get to any particular watch topic that's not the most efficient way either.

well, um, recently I rarely check the "Notify me when a reply is posted" unless I really want to follow a thread and then if it gets off topic I automatically click the "stop watching topic".

But I have a LOT of older watched posts... I just had a look... um, 17 pages worth. rofl

Embarassed I have several pages of watched topics Embarassed There have been many times that I go back to re-read something that I didn't have time to focus on when I first saw it. I do weed out my list, but apparently not often enough. Embarassed (Note to Self...)

I have no watched topics now. In fact I have never "watched" a topic. In my mind there are topics that I keep a list of that I am interested in but I don't actually use the watch topic feature. Wink

I don't watch any these days - too many emails! I try to catch up with all posts since my last visit when I log in though although I know I sometimes miss some I would have liked to read.
