like the equivalent to a bad hair day? The day your skin looks bad and blah, and you really need something? And when whatever you do your makeup looks like crap? Uneven, dry, too oily, geting into lines, cakey, cracking, wrong colour, too yellow, too bright, just really, really BAD?
Well, at least I had a really good hair day today... |

I do. I always wear MMU when I go out and have done for at least two years but sometimes no matter what I do it looks horrendous. I also have days where I think m I look ok today & other days when I think I look truly awful & shouldn't be allowed out in public. |

Today was one of those I really shouldn't been allowed in public! BAD!
Too bad I cannot just pull my face back in a ponytail and ignore it, like I do on a bad hair day... |

Every time I put on make-up, I have one. I don't wear make-up usually. I have more bad hair days than bad make-up days. |

I love it when you suddenly realize that makeup you were wearing is not the right color anymore! "How long exactly have I been orange?" |

Today is a double whammy day for me. Bad makeup day and bad hair day. Last night I overdosed on chips so this morning my face was so puffy from all the water retention, so no amount of 'contouring' with my bronzer helped to make my face look less balloon-ey. My face is also a devastation area full of tiny breakouts from being overzealous with my EpidermxII last week. *looks for brown paper bag to cover head* |

I am soo happy I'm not the only one experiencing bad makeup days! Once I ended up washing and putting on new makeup 3 times, and it still looked like hell. And I don't usually wear a lot of makeup, just concealor and a light dusting of mmu, and mascara.
How can one mess that up?
*paper bags anyone?* |

Yes! Sometimes my MMU looks great and sometimes it looks awful (so that my skin looks powdery, dry, flaky and the coverage is spotty, but also weirdly shiny/oily in certain places too). Then my concealer won't go on smoothly or look as good (it'll get cakey and dry) and my blush doesn't blend into my skin as well. And if my "base" face looks bad, then it doesn't matter what I do to my eyes or lips, I'll just look like poo. |

I just love it when you get up, look in the mirror, and see bags under my eyes that no makeup is going to help.I also know I'm going to have a bad face day when my rosacea is acting up. |

....that was my "this morning" |

Oh, yes. That is the worst! I've learned to always check my face in natural daylight before leaving the house... |

Yes, I have bad lighting moments too. It would be so much easier if I could just stay in pitch black darkness constantly. |

Yes, sadly I do. Some days nothing goes right. I try to forget those days though and pretend they never happened. LOL |

+1 on that.
I feel like my skin has been just 'blah' this entire week or so, contributing to a 'bad face' week. And so I still do my regular routine (concealer for the uneven patches, a dusting of powder, mascara, and a bit of eyeliner ) and yet, I look completely different in the bathroom mirror at my SO's house, or something of the like. |

I'm having one of those days as we speak.....dry flaky skin, uneven, cakey. Thank god my huuuge eyelashes distract the casual observers eye from all that |

I have one when I'm very tired and didn't get enough sleep. I find exfoliating my face and neck before my shower in the mornings on the day I'm tired really helps. |

I swear that my complexion turns a kind of greyish green about 6 days before my period. i am told that it is all in my head but I can see it in the mirror. On those days which I have come to know as my pms uglies nothing seems to look right on me; even my clothes. I must be the only person who has this but I swear that I look sickly green. So I compensate by wearing my nice jewelry to make myself feel better |

I don't wear base, occasionally I've tried mmu and think wow looks good, till I see it later, then I just think ok I've age ten years. So for most part I can't blame bad makeup days on any base turning, but there are times one looks in mirror and thinks OMG a bus hit me! |

Yes! I think everyone has bad makeup days. I don't wear makeup every day so that's the only reason I don't have too many bad makeup days, but every now and then, for no reason at all, the mascara smudges, the shadow creases or won't blend and not a single lipstick looks the right colour for my face. |
