Are they worth the money or is there something less expensive? Thanks! |

I love the calendula cream. I carry a bit around with me in a sample jar and use it on my cuticles, dry spots on my face, etc.
I really like it.
I've always wanted to try the Jurlique Cleansing cream, especially since I wasn't crazy about Dr. H. |

Hi Janie,
My personal opinion is that most Jurlique products are excellent quality however I don't tend to buy a lot of their stuff because I do think it's overpriced.
It was great when I was living at home as my uncle works for Jurlique and my Mum would often get lots of freebies from him.
There are a lot of other natural/organic products on the market that are probably just as good but a lot cheaper. Plus keep in mind that you guys in canada are paying a lot more than we do he in Australia due to transport costs (damn those pretty glass bottles!) |

I have been using almost all Jurlique products for my daily routines since the beginning of the year (I also use some NIA24 and SKII) and for me, yes most of the ones I have tried have def been worth it. Here's a quick rundown:
Cleansing Lotion - smells fab and removes my silicone-based foundation and sunscreen very well. OCM did not remove all of my foundation which is why I switched to the Cleansing Lotion.
AHC Lavender - smells fab. I use this at night to steam with an Eve Lom muslin. I got used to the steaming when I was using Eve Lom so the AHC Lavender provides that part of the 'ritual' for me now.
Face Wash Cream - def worth it, cleans out your pores beautifully. But - you have to apply with the 'press and roll' Dr H technique for it to clean out your pores.
Rosewater Freshener - another good smelling item, I mist this after rinsing the Face Wash Cream off. You probably could get away with a cheaper mist. I use SK-II Facial Treatment Essence after misting with the rosewater.
Eye Gel - lightweight but good moisturising, not greasy at all. May be too lightweight for some people but I like it.
Herbal Recovery Gel - this is a wonderful moisturiser and truly gives you a glow. Not greasy, sinks in beautifully - great base for your foundation. If you see reviews here it's a love it or hate it product. I'm in the love it group but you may want to get a sample before buying the whole bottle. I have repurchased the big bottle of this, don't want to be without it.
Neck Serum - this one I am going to have to say is not worth it to me. I have used it since the beginning of the year and the difference in my 'sleep crumples' on my decollete has come after I added SK-II FTE to my nighttime routine - no difference from the Neck Serum. I am going to finish my bottle of Neck Serum and then just use the Herbal Recovery Gel on both my face and decollete (unless I break down and buy that Elemis pro collagen for the neck that someone was raving about ).
Elder Cream - I have been using this on my upper lip melasma, sun damage on my nose, and acne scars on my cheeks. I can def say that they are all lighter - BUT I am also using NIA 24 and SKII FTE so I am not sure which product is doing it! This is what happens when one is a product junkie. Still, if you have hyperpigmentation the Elder Cream is not too expensive and it couldn't hurt to try. I apply like La Mer - a teeny bit warmed between my fingers and patted on the problem areas. It's a thick cream but I have had no issues with clogged pores.
Deep Penetrating Cream Mask - smells fab and gives you a nice glow, comparable to Valmont Renewing Pack. I've only used Valmont twice but I do think the two masks are similar. Valmont may be a bit better.
Lip Care Balm - I think this is another love it or hate it product, I'm again in the love it group. |

If you are looking for natural skincare, as far as I know, this is the best. Decleor contains essential oils but at extremenly low concentration. L'occitane is not as 'natural' compared to Jurlique. That said, because such a high % of natural ingredients, might not give you the fast or extreme results you might be hoping to see. |

I like Jurlique products for they are natural and smell great. But I think Jurlique is good at keeping your skin at the state it is rather than improve it. |

So far, I have been pleased with the Lavender Silk Dust. I would love to try their SPF30 product that I have read about, but I can't seem to find it at EDS or other sites that carry Jurlique. |

I'm currently using quite a lot of the Jurlique products and am fairly happy with them all. I live in England but bought the products when I was travelling in Oz as they were so much cheaper than here in the UK. I think my favourites are the foaming facial wash, rosewater freshner and herbal recovery gel. I probably would re-purchase them if it wasn't for the price, but I'll see how things go. Might try Decleor next time instead! Definitley worth trying Jurlique though, IMO! |

As far as I'm aware Jurlique don't actually make their own sunscreen. I believe it's made under their label by the same company that makes the Hamilton brand which you can buy at the pharmacy for a fraction of the price. Save your dollars on this one |

I am not aware of a Hamilton brand, but I've been ordering s/s online so I don't even think to check drugstores for s/s when I'm in there. Is it sold in the US? |

Hamilton is widely available here in Australia but I've just checked their website http://www.hamiltonlabs.com.au and they don't appear to have a distributor in the US. I happen to have a bottle of the sensitive lotion in the cupboard so I'm going to give it a try on my face today. I'll let you know in the physical sunscreen thread how it goes!
If you are still interested in the Jurlique sun lotion I managed to track down a list of the ingredients:
Active Ingredients: Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate 7.5, Oxybenzone 5.0, Titanium Dioxide 2.1, Octyl Salicylate 2.0
Antimicrobial Agent: Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate 4.0.
Ingredients: Water, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Glycerin, Oxybenzone, Ethylhexyl Stearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Titanium Dioxide, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Glyceryl Stearate, Avocado Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Dimethicone, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Hydrolyxed Wheat Protein, Tocopheryl Acetate, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, Lactic Acid, Aluminum Oxide, Xanthan Gum, Cetyl Alcohol, Lavander Oil, Pine Leaf Oil, Cypress Oil, Bitter Orange Oil, Linalool, Limolene, Gluten. |

Thank you for going to the trouble to find the ingredients for the Jurlique sunscreen! I didn't realize that it has chemical filters as active ingredients. Deal breaker for me at this point, due to skin sensitivity. |

Jurlique is the best stuff ever. It is definately worth the money because they are honest about their products and are all natural. They don't use any harmful chemicals in their products and I trust them. |

Hi,
I have been on and off Jurlique for over 7 years. I have to honestly say that in the end I always go back to Dr.Hauschka.
I LOVE jurlique, yet I have found that their products dont really do anything, compared to Dr.H. Recently I switched from Normalizing Day Oil (which was doing too good of a job at controlling my oily skin - it was dryng my skin out), so I switched to the Day Care Face Oil. WOW, talk about OILY skin and VERY congested pores.
After using the majority of the Jurlique line I have to say the ONLY product I like is the Foaming Face Wash and it is my favorite cleanser ever.
I even tried Jurlique on my husband who has uber perfect, normal skin. His skin was a bit congested around the nose with the J and did not have any glow. With the Dr.H his skin glows and looks fab. He even told me he does not want to use my left over products that I dont want, and likes the Dr. Hauschka the best (cleansing cream and quince day cream)- alright then!!
My last point is that if you want to get some results use a vitamin C serum. I use all organic products and a vitamin c product - RESULTS will be in the making!!! Less superficial lines, glowing skin and it really works for anti-aging as well as keeping the acne at bay!!

I just placed an order. I'll let you know how it goes. Since I started using MMU and my skin looks so much more healthy, I want to continue to use more natural products. |

I've used many products from Jurlique for years and Face creame wash is the one I love so much. It's perfect for my skin and it is the must skin care for me.
I also so love Herbal recovery gel. My skin is getting softer and firmer. It smells so good also. |

I've tried several Jurlique products. While I think they're of good quality I think they're overpriced. I'm still on the fence about most products I've tried. I liked the feel of Face Wash Cream, but didn't notice any difference on my skin though that's possibly because I wasn't using it properly. I never got the whole press and roll thing. I really liked their Lip Cream a lot, but haven't purchased it again. I'm currently only using their Herbal Recovery Gel( which I was so looking forward to, but am not thrilled about at all) and Calendula Cream (which I love). I bought full sizes of their Sensitive Face Wash and Body Oil and I couldn't possibly be more disappointed. |

The face wash cream is great, I wouldn't be without it and also the rose or lavender dust powder is amazing if you have oily skin and usually need to blot or get rid of shine during the day. With the powder you don't need to. |
