After reading all the rave reviews about Bare Escentuals, I bought the Mineral Veil and Clear Radiance.
I suppose Mineral Veil is loose powder to be used after foundation. But what do I do with Clear Radiance??
Do I mix it with powder? Or do I dust it all over my face after powder? Or do I only apply as a highlight on cheeks, chin, bridge of nose and high forehead? I don't want the colour on my face to look different from my neck and body colour!
Can someone help explain to this make up moron? |

Hi Evelyn,
It's quite funny because your "makeup intuition" is pretty much spot on! I think you listed all the different ways you can use this Mineral Veil is a setting powder and Clear Radiance is a bit of everything. I have read that people mix it in with powder, some apply it over the top all over and others just apply it as a highlighter (cheeks, brows etc).
So I guess it's just a matter of experimentation. Have fun! Oh and from what I read a little goes a long way so it might be best to be light handed with it - you can always build it up.

Thanks Mabsy for your tips!
By the way, did I have a brief discussion with you about Cle de Peau concealer?
Well, if I did, just thought I'd let you know I finally bought it, and I think it's fantastic. I'm using the lightest shade. And it covers my dark circles really well and looks very natural not at all cakey, no matter how many layers I put on. It's a bit thick, being in a stick form, so I use an eye cream first.
I think it's well worth the hefty price tag! |

Hi Evelyn,
Thanks for the feedback on the CDP concealer. It was high up on my list of things to try but I convinced myself I have enough stuff at home. Now that you mention it it's gone back to the top of the list again I've recently rediscovered the joys of concealing with mineral powder on a fine tip brush But there's (apparently) always room for more
