It's a new product she has coming out according to her web site. If she had testers for it I wasn't one of them. |

Hi Frodo,
Have you tried putting just macadamia oil on your lips? My lips are highly allergic (now I think I just found out the culprit is beeswax), so I have been experimenting with just putting oil on them. None of the oils made my lips allergic. I tried emu, argan, squalane, camellia, and now macadamia (just last night). Macadamia is the only oil that I put on and made my lips really soft. I woke up this morning and they were soft and moist still.

The reason I asked was that I was so very lucky to get to test this. I constantly battle dry, cracked and peeling lips. I bite off the dead skin to the point of making my lips bloody (sorry, graphic I know) and can't keep gloss or lipstick on because of this "biting" tendency. Every product I've tried seemed to soften and moisten my lips but really just sat on top of the dead, dry skin until it wore off.
Candessence Lip Service Treatment has the consistency of a gloss but it sinks in and hydrates beautifully. Be prepared though--if your lips are very dry and cracked, the first time you use the treatment, the skin will simply roll up and peel off in sheets. After that, your lips will be soft, firm and well-hydrated. This condition will last overnight! I used it the first time in the evening and the next morning my lips were still soft and plump.
Beware! This Lip Service Treatment will become an * spam alert *.
I know, I know, I always rave about Candessence products. And there ARE several I adore, I'll admit.
Try this if you battle very dry, chapped lips. You won't be sorry.

OMG Ari...I am constantly battling SERIOUS and I mean SERIOUS dry lips
http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=15462&highlight=dry+lips
So, I;m lemming this big time. Might distract me from the MMU!!!!
At the moment, I'm using a combination of Carekate lip exfoliator, overnight treatment, colored lip balm and Organic Hemp Balm. My lips are less bad these days but still pretty dry if I don't reapply products every 20 min or so...I know, I know...must stop licking lips. I've tried but to no avail... |

Cat, You won't need to re-apply this every 20 minutes. Candy recommends twice a day but after the initial peel once will do it. I'm not kidding this has been a life-long issue for me. Not anymore. |

I am just doing research to see what I want to use after my L2K products are finished as so far (almost 3 months) I'm not seeing anything close to those who rave about this product. I have Carekate's exfoliator and overnight stuff so will probably start with that. You do make Candy's lip stuff sound like a winner tho. |

I'm wondering if it contains beewax also? I'm using lips2kiss and they don't contain any beewax. My lips have been sooo moisturized using them.. Wonder if I can switch to Candy's if hers doesn't contain beewax? |

Ok I recieved this and was going to post a review till I saw this, this stuff is fabulous, it does slight plumping, very hydrating and with long term use will def plump up lips some!! After you apply it theres a slight numbing, tingling that happens, and it is highly addictive!! I love this stuff. I am not a lip balm person at all, but I do apply this in morning and at nite, its def hydrates, but is not a gloss per se or a lip balm, its a "treatment"! |

Sorry, I don't know. I don't have any issues with beeswax. We'll have to wait for "Candy Cane's" answer on this one.

UPDATE:
I am informed that there is NO beeswax in the lip treatment.
I didn't think so but didn't want to commit in view of allergies.

WoM, I bite, too, when I got any peeling on my lips. The macadamia nut oil is actually the first thing that made my lips so moist and no peeling. I still haven't had to use any lip balm yet since last night. |
