Hi, saw this mentioned in the January/February magazine Elevate. (here in Canada). This italian gadget, is it the same principle as Tua Viso? It looks similar, but more pricey. It looks like it is made by the same company, not sure though. tia. |

The TUA TRE’ND seems to be made by the same company as Tua Viso. It seems to operate on the same principle but you can possible customize the wait period between stimulations and also regulate the intensity. Also it can be place in more areas than the Tua Viso. Actually I am favorable to these devices because I think they work well. These devices have a solid stimulation pulse that is held 5 to 6 sec. and then released. The motion mimics facial exercises. Do I think they are better than facial exercises????No I think facial exercises are the best along with heavy facial massage. However I do feel the devices are effective and for some people that would like a no brainer exercise program for the face it will work and I think it does firm and stimulate the skin. I bought a Tua Viso for my mother, she won't discipline herself with facial exercise and the results are very good. I tried it out and have been impressed. QVC in the UK sells Tua Viso and it will be sold in the US at QVC sometime in 2009. There are several distributors selling the Tua product in the USA and in other countries. Ebay generally has some. Back to the Ten'nd, it has some perks in placement but I think the Tua Viso might be easier to use. This is the only facial device that I have seen for consumer use that holds the flexed muscle for at least 5 sec. other just twitch the muscle constantly which I don't think is effective. All of this is just my take. I own a NufAce(not impressive) derma tone(not solid stimulation) face master(some benefits to the eye area, jowl and cheek current not strong enough and no flex held time) and Connie Stevens Time Machine-this really dates me weak current). The tua products have my vote for stimulation facial devices.
