DH decided to buy some shampoo (alot I might add). This stuff is so bad he can't even use it. I would love some suggestions of what I can do with it besides wash clothes or just throw it away. Anyone think I could put some "goodies" into it and turn it into a body wash that won't ruin our skin? |

hi salli,
i am thinking maybe you can still save the shampoo by adding in carrier oil. I added jojoba oil to some terrible shampoo and shook really hard and LOVED the result. If you have some SKB or seamollient or liquid BGs, those are awesome too.

My main issue with this stuff is SLS. Since I've been using an SLS free shampoo my hair looks so much better. (Meant to put this in my initial post sorry). |

salli I don't have any DIY suggestions but here are a few things that I do with harsh shampoos.
Clean my yoga mat
Wash my makeup brushes
Remove residue from my hair before coloring
You can try using it as a dish detergent although I have never tried this myself. |

I second Theresa about using harsh cleansers/shampoos for cleaning makeup brushes. I would even use it as a detergent for wiping down surfaces around the house (but not wash the dishes) - at least it might have a nice fragrance..
Typical male huh?? |

Hi salli,
I have the same problem. i have been using this huge bottle of kms shampoo as a foot soap. It works well, i just pump some on a foot brush and scrub. i also use it to clean makeup brushes. after i am done with the bottle, i am not even going to use anything that has SLS?SLES or any harsh surfactants on my feet either. |
