I have been having a hard time finding a moisturiser for my dry crepey skin - which is also prone to congestion - in desperation, I have tonight placed the Weleda baby nappy cream (which my son uses) on my face. It feels beautiful. Soft. Full. Not dry. It also contains zinc oxide but it does not leave a whitish sheen. I am thinking of using it as an alternative to sunscreen.
I have now placed an order with weleda and have ordered a range of their baby products.
I think I have a skin care purchasing disease.
Has anyone else tried this? I have checked out their ingredients and they all seem very lovely. |

Hi serendipidy!
I use the Weleda Calendula Baby Cream at night when my face needs extra moisture. I love it! It feels a bit greasy going on, but the next morning I wake up with soft, well moisturized skin.
I also use it under my eyes- it reduces the puffyness, and dehydration lines. I haven't experienced any bad side effects like clogged pores, but I don't use it every day, maybe once a week.
Highly recommended!
I am very interested in the nappy cream, I didn't see it at the store here (I'm in the US).
Nah, you're just a skincare connoisseur!
cheers,

Hi Blissgirl - my drawer is full of product (bought from lemmings created from being on EDS!). I have three or four jurlique items (which I am running down and won't repurchase), three or four new dr H items (for those breakout times - am also using the dr H balancing day oil as OCM), some weleda wild rose (oil caps and eye cream). My decleor essential balm is on its way from EDS!
Here is the product - it's called Weleda diaper cream in the US:
Weleda Diaper Cream
As a natural healing alternative, choose Weleda's Diaper-Care for quick, effective relief for your baby's diaper rash and minor skin irritations. Zinc oxide protects and promotes healing, while calendula soothes the skin.
Ingresients:
Almond Oil, Calendula Flower, Chamomile Flower, Hydrolyzed Beeswax, Lanolin, Lavender Oil, Litsea Cubeba Oil, Orange Oil, Petitgrain (Citrus Aurantium Amara; Bitter Orange) Oil, Rosemary Oil, Sage Oil, Distilled Water, Ylang ylang (Cananga Odorata) Oil Oil, Zinc Oxide |

Well, today I put on weleda diaper cream as a sunscreen, and I love it! After letting it sink in, it made a nice base for my make up, and my skin feels really nice and plump! Thanks for the idea, serendipidy.
