I am contact lens user and am using clarins eye cream spf 15 on top of my regular eye contour cream, so, pretty much double layer, it seems OK to me since I put more on the lower eye lid (bag area) and side area... just don't be too generous on applying them.

I've used dermalogica total eye care while wearing contacts without any problems.I'm not very heavy handed with the product.

I have been wearing contact lenses for about 35 years (you should have seen the first ones!), and have never had a problem. I would advise using any SPF cream recommended for the face, and just be careful. I approach SPF the same as any eye cream...use sparingly, and do not get too close to the rims of your eyes because the cream will "travel" once applied. Keep in mind most SPF creams really sting if you get them in your eyes!

I am using the Murad eye cream with SPF15. So far so good. I'm about to finish a whole bottle for that. It doesn't travels into my eye, it's moisturizing enough and yet has SPF, not many creams does have SPF though.

My beautician actually recommended me another sunscreen which is gentle enough to use on the eye area as well but every time i use that it just goes into my eye and i tear badly. So I guess you gotta be careful of what eyecream you are using and also not to apply to near to your eyes.

Thanks for the tip on Murad,I think I might give it a try.If it combines the benefits of an eye cream with an SPF it seems ideal...that way I wouldn't have to layer. The fact that it doesn't "travel" makes it even more appealing! And...I know Murad has a good reputation.

I agree with luvyourskin. I've been wearing contacts for 15 years and have never had a problem with any eye creams/gels. Just be careful because once you have contacts on, anything that gets in your eyes will cause a lot of discomfort (especially eyelashes!).

I like total eye care by dermalogica. It is tinted and doesn't irritate my eyes. I been using it for 3 months.

I love Clarins Sun Wrinkle Control for Eyes SPF 30 -- it doesn't migrate into my eyes at all!
