Hi everyone, this may have been discussed to death in another post, so accept my apologies in advance!
I am looking for organic and/or natural skin care products that are effective on sensitive, combination skin. I am very fair, and somewhat dry in the cheek area but oily in the T-zone. I have broken capillaries/blotchiness on my cheeks and chin and would give anything to lessen their appearance without going the laser route.
If anyone could recommend a good daytime moisturizer, serum/treatment etc that is organic and/or natural, I would be forever grateful!
tks,
Kathleen |

My favourite organic lines for Sensitive skin are Dr Hauschka, Primavera and Lavera. Lavera's regular line is great for all skin types including sensitive skin but they also make a line for hypersensitive skin too. I use Dr H and Primavera myself and really really love them both. |

While I agree that Dr. H Rose Day Cream is good for sensitive skin, I don't think it'll be great for your skin if it's on the oily side. It's VERY rich. I'm using this myself, but my skin is ridiculously dry. I haven't noticed any improvement on broken caps though. |

L'Athene products are very nice and good for your skin type (the website is lathene with the usual befores and afters). The products last forever, so even though they are not cheap they wind up being quite affordable. |

It sounds as though my skin is similar to yours, and the Dr. H Rose Day Cream has worked really well for me. (Note, it is very rich, but the Dr. H website--the German one--promises a lighter version to be introduced in May. I'm planning to try it as my summer moisturizer.)
Also, you may want to consider a course of Dr. H rhythmic night conditioners. I used the one for sensitive skin, and it really soothed and calmed my skin. |
