I would like to know from those who have been using copper peptides for a long time, if you can cut back on frequency once you achieve the desired results?
I dont think Dr.Pickard mentions this? I will ask him too, but would like to hear your experience.
Thanks |

I have been using them for about 3-4 years now & I have cut back on my usage to every other day. |

Kim, how soon did you start cutting back and what kind of CPs are you using?
I am going to start SkinBios GHK serum. |

I started very slowly since I have sensitive skin. I began with regular CP serum diluted at least 50% - I used that for several months, then bumped up to full strength. It wasn't until over a year later that I went to diluted Super CP - stayed with that for several months, then went to full-strength. I was eventually able to use Super Cop & Super Cop 2X to spot treat - but when I would use it on large areas, I would get a lot of itching & irritation - even breakouts. I also discovered that I have to use diluted regular CPs around my eyes or I have the fuglies constantly.
Several months ago, I decided to start cutting back to see if how my skin would respond -because I really feel I've pretty much gone as far as I can with the CPs since I can't use anything stronger than what I use right now. I have been using diluted regular CP serum around my eyes & full-strength Super CP serum on the rest of my face & chest for several months now - I have not 'lost any ground'.
So I guess I went for about 3 years, then started cutting back. |

Thanks for your detailed response Kim.
Im curious - what effect did the CP have on your chest? Did it have a firming effect?
Well, since I can only use GHK Cu serum or cream I cant realy build up to anything stronger. Maybe Dr.Pickard will come up with new products in the future. |

Hi Kim. I just got the regular cp for my scars. Did CP help your scars (if you had any) at all? |

I didn't notice any firming at all - but I just use it on my upper chest to improve skin texture, not in the breast area for firming.
Lisey, I don't think you're going to notice any change in scars just from the regular CP serum - it's pretty mild. The Super CP serum has 40% more copper - and also some BHA to enhance penetration (not for exfoliation) - so you will need at least that, and probably some Super COP or 2X for spot-treatment - along with AHAs - to treat scars. Scars are pretty stubborn & require aggressive treatment - but you do have to start slow - so the regular CP serum is the right beginning product. |

Hi, Kim.
I have little acne scars on my face. Do you think CP serum can fix them? |

Not alone, no. Not if you mean actual scars & not just hyperpigmentation.
Scars usually require lengthy treatment (depending upon the severity of the scar) - and you usually have to work up into the products with the higher % of copper, add in BHA, and AHA peels in order to affect the scarring.
Of course, the more recent the scar, the easier it is to treat. |
