Hi
Ive been trying out different foundation MMU but now I want to try out some eye shadows/blush.
I dont really like sparkly makeup, prefer more matt or just a touch of shimmer. Quite like pinky or violet shades and earthy tones. I have dark blue eyes but not really sure what colours suit blue??
Can you tell me your favourite MMU company for the above?? Ta |

Carol-- I love Alima's eyeshadows and blushes. The colors are gorgeous, and you can buy samples for $1 so you can take a buncha colors for a "test drive" and then just order full sizes of the ones you like best.
For eye shadows I think you would like Pearluster Grace (very sheer plum with a hint of bronze--- much lighter than it looks on the website), pearluster Cassis (sheer soft violet), and pretty much ANY of the neutrals--- all of the beiges and browns I've tried from Alima have just been lovely.
As far as blush goes, I prefer shimmery blush so I'm afraid I can't advise you on Alima's matte blushes. However, I CAN tell you that the Sugar Rose blush is a stunning, subtle pinky-beige that gives a very natural look, so I would definitely recommend giving it a shot. HTH! |

Carolb69, I've recently been using both Lumiere and LureBeauty-both mmu. I also prefer more matte to shimmer. My coloring is different from yours though-hazel eyes and lt. auburn hair. Both these co.have losts of choices: matte, shimmer, and some sparkle. Hope you find something you like. |

I really love MMU by LaurEss. I admit, I am a sparkle lover, but I have my moments when I was something a little more matte. One of my favorite blushes is Smitten. That is a lovely matte (but not flat) blush. Also, I love the Star Lights by LaurEss. They are the perfect combination of matte and sparkle (very subtle). I bought their Holiday special last year and it included the Gingersnap Star Light. I really loved the texture and color.
Hope this helps! |

I am new to MMU eyeshadows and blushes, but I've been using MMU foundation for a few years. I started using Jane Iredale shadows and blush recently. I like the pressed consistency of these, since it's what I am used to working with for these products. Sorry, I can't compare it to the other brands mentioned -- just wanted to mention JI in case pressed formulas were of interest to you. |

my favorite MMU is by TwistedFayte(TF). love the colors and texture of the products. all the colors are very pigment and the lady behind TF often throw in extras and gave a huge portion for her sample size pigments.
but sadly TwistedFayte just pull out from the MMU. its really sad to see such good stuffs gone forever. now i m looking out for good and nice MMU.
any brands to recommend? tia |

I only tried BE before... I would love to try other brands, any recommendations?
I read elsewhere about PureLuxe but never got down to trying them... Where do I find out more about this Alima you all are talking about? |
