Has anyone ever tried a new product and, to your surprise, it completely changed your life? Would people like to share those life-altering products with the rest of us. How did it change your looks/skin/whatever, and why?
Mine was when I started using Paul Mitchells "straight works" hair gel. Before I had frizzy, can't-do-a-darn-thing-except-put-it-in-a-bun hair, and now my hair is straight and manageable! Not joshin!
What about you guys?

ooooh toss up between stri-vectin (horrible smell and packaging, but now indespensible!) and skinceuticles C20 serum. Have to have both of these, because they made my skin just amazing. But then I tried lookgr8 50% glycolic acid. That has probably had the biggest impact because I will NEVER use anything like that again and it wrecked my skin. |

they sell it here and if you do a google loads of sites come up. It was an impulse purchase and I honestly thought I was mad getting it, but I'm really glad I did. It was developed for strtch marks, but I use it for wrinkles |

What you mean just ONE product? I have so many that are "right up there" that I wouldn't know which to pick.
If you forced me to make a choice though I would say it's been Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Rescue. I don't use it anymore (don't need it at the moment) but I used to have really dark circles under my eyes and I was always VERY conscious of them. Hated them with a passion and didn't appreciate people asking me if I was tired and if I had a late night when in fact I slept better than ever I have tried heaps of creams that were supposed to get rid of them and this is the best one I found.
Having said that I feel like I'm betraying all my other fave products.... |

Guapagirl, did you actually use stri-vectin for stretchmarks at all?
If so, was it as good as it claims for that application? |

DebL, no I never used it for stretchmarks as mine are well old now! I suppose if you had new red ones or were pregnant, then it may be worth using (tho I'd check with a doc first) to prevent or lessen. I just refuse to believe it's any good for old ones. Plus you have to apply 3x a day to clean skin which would be a huge hassle! Also, I have never seen an independent review thatsays it has reduced stretch marks. They do offer a money back guarantee tho, so I suppose it may be worth a shot.

Cream de La Mer. Before using it my skin was slightly oily but with flakes on my t-zone. I couldn't wear foundation b/c of the flakes and every other moisturizer of AHA product was useless. Now my skin is smooth and dry - I would now say I have "normal" skin.
It really has changed my life. |
