There aren't many shows that I make a point of tuning-in to. There is far too much garbage on the idiot box. I could go on forever about how I loathe reality tv (American Idol included!).

Thursdays, I watch either Grey's Anatomy or Supernatural. As they're both on at 9:00, I watch one, and tape the other. Usually, I watch SN, so that the show gets more ratings in it's time-slot. Lord knows that G.A. doesn't need help in the ratings department! Right now, I'm annoyed, because both shows are showing reruns (last week and tonight).

I try to watch The Hour at least a couple of times per week, though it's on every weekday. It's unfortunate that it's only broadcast in Canada, as I'm sure that international viewers would love it too.

If I'm channel surfing, I usually go to A&E, Discovery, or TLC. Guilty pleasure: medical or biological shows. Oh, and despite the fact that it technically does fall into the reality genre, I love to watch Gene Simmons Family Jewels. I'm a Kiss fan, respect Simmons (very good businessman), and his show is a riot.

I don't watch alot of tv, but I do like HGTV. I'm always looking for ways to improve our house. I have to agree there's to much garbage on the air. It's not worth watching. They should ban those reality shows.

I like Grey's Anatomy as well, but I'm realizing that I'm a huge fan of reality shows. I like the ones on cable.

I generally don't watch that much TV, but tonight is my BIG TV night. I catch Survivor (My Name is Earl and The Office on commercials) then Grey's Anatomy and then Men In Trees (although the season has already ended). I also like to watch Lost, Ghost Whisperer, Las Vegas and the Amazing Race if the teams don't annoy me too much. LOL That's pretty much it. I also like watching some of the travel shows at times. (Ian Wright is soooo funny.)

Alright well, I live in the TV boonies (a.k.a Japan)

we usually get shows when they have already "expired" (ahem) on US TV or else 3 seasons after they have started, thus our list is very outdated to everyone else.

We usually tape one show a night to watch when we have time. Our regular viewing in the evening is.. um, sorry to say.. CNN Laughing Gotta have my 8pm dose of American Morning Laughing

We also tend to channel surf to Discovery or History Channel. Our FAVORITE show to stumble across (and our one guilty-pleasure reality show) is Ame-choppa (American Chopper) - gotta love those Tuttle boys. Laughing

For your entertainment, I have added the season number we are just getting now (or that has just ended) = stop laughing now =

Our spring season shows: Monk 4, ERVII, Without a Trace 3, CSI New York 2, Greys Anatomy 2, JAG 8, Everwood 1

Fall season shows: Desperate Housewives 2, Six Feet Under 3, CSI Miami 4, Sopranos 6, The OC 1

Shows that I have loved but that have vanished after a few seasons: Alias (2), West Wing (4), Will & Grace (2), Frasier (3). Crying or Very sad

Oh, we also like "24", but never catch it on TV and so far have only ever watched the DVDs of season one... man, we are really past it..

I just finished watching "Six Feet Under" on the Bravo channel, didn't want to go out and pay $300 for all of the seasons on dvd. Very good show.

Also like to watch "The Hills, Grey's Anatomy, Smallville (Tom Wells, I think, the one who is superman, is such a hunk), when I can I watch "Office", so funny, "Survivor", and whatever is interesting on TV.

Our favorites over the last year have been Heroes, House, Dexter, Lost, Grey's Anatomy, CSI LV, Prison Break, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Regenesis, Big Love, Life on Mars, Dead Like Me... We got one of the DVR boxes at the beginning of the year and now record everything to watch back at our convenience sans the commercials. It's amazing how much of the viewing hour is devoted to commercials--sometimes a 60 minute show will finish in under 37 minutes.

(American Chopper is pretty entertaining... Wink )

I feel a little sick, but I love watching Forensic Files on CourtTV Bad Grin . Other than that, I will sometimes catch Dancing with the Stars, Boston Legal, Ugly Betty, and Heroes.

Oh, and I've never watched it on TV, but I've loved the first two seasons of 24 on DVD.

I used to be a fan of "gilmore girls" but the show starts getting a bit lame now. I suspecting this will be their last season.

I haven't seen nor heard television in about 11 years. I got tired of commercials, considered them intrusions. So, I figured, I turned it on, I'd turn it off.

One exception, I did watch the news on 9/11.

Actually, for the first 1.5 yrs I lived in Japan I was TV-less - and it was the MOST productive 1.5 years of my life!!!

Good for you turning it off. Nowadays I am one of those people who turn it on "for company" if I am home alone.. just for background noise while I wash-up etc - or even if I am doing something on the PC.

I thought I was the only one! I really can't say what I like about it, I just do. Though the season opener I thought lame-- I realize the show is staged to some degree but the whole stealing of the KISS costume? Eh.

We watch the Dog Whisperer on National Geographic a lot. I'm trying to dog whisper my cat. It is not working. However, it does work on my boyfriend.

I watch the Sopranos reruns on A&E because I never had HBO, so they're new to me.

I like Heros, The Office, 30 Rock, Scrubs... I also watch a lot of the Food Network. My favorite is Giada DeLarentiis, Racheal Ray. I like to watch Mario Batali cook but I never could make anything he cooks.

I watch WAY too much tv, but I can't help myself. Smile Anyway, the shows that I hate to miss are:

Prison Break
Heroes
Lost
My Name Is Earl
The Office
Desperate Housewives
The Simpsons
Family Guy

We usually leave the tv on as background noise most of the time, even if I'm reading or doing whatever.

I record everything I want to watch in a week and usually watch these shows on the weekend when I have time / when there is nothing else on (sans the commercials, of course!)

They are: CSI Miami, NY, LV, Gilmore Girls, NCIS, House, Bones.

Sometimes I watch Cold Case, Numbers, Ghost Whisperer, Without a Trace.

In Indonesia TV programs are very pathetic.
Thank God for cable TV and DVDs that I can watch American shows here!
Used to be hooked on West Wing and 24. Right now I am loving Ugly Betty & House. Also guilty of following every episode of American Idol Laughing Laughing
