i was just browsing some old threads and one member said that s/he requested some samples from EDS, can u actually do that???
EDS is already being very generous with their free gifts and samples, but to actaully ask for a specific brand samples...isnt that a bit...taking advantage of EDS? |

You can request samples in the "notes" section of your order. It all depends on if EDS has them but you could give it a try. When I place an order I usually request samples from lines I would actually use just so that they don't include a bunch of samples I would either give away or throw out. I hate to be wasteful. |

I had never realized that we could request samples until I read it on a thread also, so my last order I requested a sample from a line I have been thinking of trying, but haven't bought because I'm not sure how it will react with my skin. I hate to buy the full size and not be able to use it. I haven't received the order yet so I'm not sure if they included the samples I requested, but with how great EDS is, I'm sure they will send them if they have them. |

This is what I usually do. For instance, my last order was L'Occitane and various lip balms, so I asked if it were possible to have bath/body samples this time around. I haven't received the order yet but EDS always does their best to accommodate customer requests, IMO.
It never hurts to ask, the least they (or anyone) will do is say no, or that they aren't available. At least you asked.
I felt terrible about asking but I was told that it wasn't a big deal at all. (By board members and the staff.) |

I did not request in my last order and was very surprised when it came with samples (from the brand which i am currently using).
I reckon EDS tries to accomodate when they can |

I requested samples once too, but received other products instead as I assume there were no samples available, especially considering the number of requests & orders EDS must get! But it's worthwhile asking as they may have the samples available & will most probably try & send you the ones you requested. |

EDS always has given great samples with my orders. I think they take into consideration what you have ordered and then include samples that they feel you might benefit from. I got a great sample pack of Decleor the first time and more resently samples of dermalogica, and murad.
PS, for the person that said they didn't get a free gift with their order- you have to actually put the free gift into your shopping cart when you order online, other wise no free gift. |
