Hi....I am new here and really think there is great information on this forum!!! I am wondering, have any of you used both Dr. Perricone's cleansing oil or DHC cleansing oil? I am not a huge fan of Perricone products, but the sample I got of the cleansing oil was really nice...any thoughts?

thanks,

lisa

Hi and welcome to the forum. I haven't used Perricone's cleansing oil, I find his prices to be waaaayyyy to extraveagent for my budget Laughing and I've heard mixed reviews on how they perform so I've never been overly tempted to try his line. DHS cleansing oil is very nice, though that too is a little on the expensive side. I recently ordered a cleansing oil from the garden of wisdom website. I asked the ladies over there if they had used DHc cleansing oil and/or GOW's cleansing oil and they seemed to like the GOW one better, and it is less expensive than DHC, so I'm glad I ordered it.

I like using the oil cleansing method in the winter for my dry skin. It makes it so soft and smooth.

Hi Maria, thanks for the reply! I presume if I did a search for GOW I would find it? Gosh, I had no idea there were so many brands...everytime I think I have heard of them all...more arise. I will check this one out. Yeah, not too interested in Perricone..it seems as though people make him out to know the most and therefore his products to be one of the best. My mom tried and didn't like them too much. But we all know, what works for one, may not work for another! I will see about the GOW...thanks a bunch

I just have used dhc cleaning oil.
I think it is good, but some of my friends feel irritated.

I like the DHC olive cleansing lotion, but to be honest, have tried just pure virgin olive oil - remove with warm wash cloth, and aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh - my skin is soft and clean.

I haven't tried the Perricone, but I have used the DHC cleansing oil and liked it a lot. Pure olive oil as a cleanser would probably work, but I don't want to spend extra time wiping off the oil with a washcloth, or using an additional cleanser to remove it. So I use cleansing oils that rinse off with water. Laventine makes one (Olive Forte) that is very similar to DHC's but slightly better price-wise.
