Wishing you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving and holiday season.
For those who celebrate this holiday, are you doing the cooking or traveling? This year I get off the hook. We are going to my brothers. My job is to bring the yams and rolls. There will be 30 for dinner. Being part of a big family makes it easy on the host. My brother is in charge of the turkey, stuffing and gravy. Every family brings a few dishes.
Enjoy,
Winnie ![](images/smiles/049.gif) |

Happy Thanksgiving to my forum family !
This year just the two of us.
And for the first time ordered a precooked dinner from our local grocery.
Lots of warm memories of big family gatherings and so very thankful for all our blessings.

Happy thanksgiving all! I just found out that Canada has actually been celebrating Thanksgiving for longer than America has!
All I have to do this year is make the stuffing. We're having a cooking challenge. My stuffing made from scratch vs. my brother's stuffing made from a box. I define scratch as making my own croutons... Of course I'm reminded that at least I don't have to grow my own wheat, grind the wheat to make the flour and bake my own bread but this is still a major undertaking! ![Laughing](images/smiles/lol.gif) |

Happy Thanksgiving!
We're going to the in-laws this year and bringing dessert. I've decided to buy a couple of pies rather than attempt to make them myself...I always have a hard time with the pie crust not turning out right , but I'm making a pumpkin cheesecake and probably some cookies. |
