Hello everyone,
I would like to know if there is a one-stop shopping for quality supplements like MSM,Omega Fish Oils, Caltrate,Ginko Biloba etc. I would prefer a Canadian source but American ones are fine if the shipping is reasonable. Of course, reasonable price is the biggest concern...

Thanks first.

Wild cat, Thanks for bring up that topic. I want to know as well. I usually would just go to wholefood for this kind of thing but it will be nice to shop them online with a more pleasant price Razz

I used to buy all my supplements at London Drugs which is just a commercial drugstore. I am not so confident with the quality of their products...since they are always on blow-out sales Confused

I would also like to know if specific brands of products are better and superior in quality...not just the price.

iherb carries a lot of very high quality brands. "better" depends on what you want or don't want. I have different brands that I like for different things.

There lies my problem. I can't afford trying different brands and it just feels silly taking something that I don't know would be effective or not. I am hoping there is a miracle site that sells only the best ones... in my dreams I know... Mad

I buy all of my supplements from vitacost.com - they have flat-rate shipping (in the US) of $4.99 (or is it $4.95?)...all of my supplements are NSI, except for the copper, which is TwinLabs. Heck, they even have the protein powder for my protein shakes at a fraction of the cost it is at GNC - and I still only pay flat-rate shipping.

iherb.com, vitacost.com and puritan's pride. the puritan's pride brand actually always rates high on consumer lab reports for potency, etc.

Interesting. Was the the NSI brand? I've always heard really good things about the NSI brand.

As far as MSM, it's my understanding that as long as it's OptiMSM or Lingusul, it's good. And the NSI brand is OptiMSM.

But I didn't read the other thread, so I don't know what concerns were discussed.

I was the troublemaker who wrote to Vitacost. oopss! Maybe Dr.Josephs will band me from buying more vitamins from his site. I wrote back to Kim (not you, Kim, but the other Kim at Vitacost) and told her that the explanation given was the biggest piece of ahhh...well, you know what I mean...I have ever heard. I didn't quite put it that indelicately though. I did tell her about the fact that I am broadcasting this issue on a discussion forum (didn't specify that it's EDS and I would not tell them that even if they put a knife to my throat), but I told her it is not a good PR image that their company is misleading their consumers.

Hence, I need a better source for MSM Pray

I use puritanspride for regular supplements and Dragonherbs for specialty blends and tonics. Dragonherbs are more expensive for their formulations, but they grow their own and are exclusive to what they sell.

I buy fromwww.aviva.ca andwww.nationalnutrition.ca – they have an excellent selection IMHO and are both *very* helpful, easy and pleasant to deal with. Unless they are out of something, which happened with a few items on my last order, my package always arrives via XPressPost in an efficient manner. (When they are out of something, they provide suggestions of comparable replacements if you are not keen on special ordering and waiting the 4-6 weeks.) I highly recommend them!

So sorry Wild Cat! I wanted to add the other place I order from and so edited my message... I think both links work now.

National Nutrition in particular has many items, especially individual homeopathics, that they carry in their store but which are not represented on their website.

Wildcat, are you looking for MSM specifically? I have been using Organika MSM and a few of their other products. They have a "Truth in a Bottle" policy that I am all for...
