I just tried this last night for the first time. I understand the press and roll but how much do you use? The instructions say 1/2 inch mixed with water but that didn't really seem to be enough. How thick should the paste be? |

When I used this cleansing cream I would use the equivalent to 1/4 tsp. When I was using my homemade version it was more like 1/2 tsp. |

I've used this for several years and had always used the recommended 1/2 inch. Recently, however, I started using less (say, a squeeze about the size of a pea) and actually find that it works better for me. I can't really explain why except to say that I felt as though with the larger amount a lot was getting lost. (Pushed up into my hairline or clumping and not staying on my hands during the press and roll.) So, strangely, using less actually feels like more to me.
Anyway, I guess my recommendation would be to experiment with various amounts between, say 1-2.5 centimeters; if your experience is like mine, the optimal amount will just feel right. |
