Has anyone tried making their own sunscreen mixing pure Zinc Oxide with base oils and emulsifiers etc? Most of all the natural "organic" sunscreens on the market are just mixes of zinc and Ti with oils and botanicals. I don't see why I couldn't make my own. Especially since I haven't found one where I am happy with all the secondary inactive ingredients. I'd rather choose my own. Where did you get your zinc if you've done this, or where is the best place to get it? And what % did you use of it? Thanks. |
