I use their loose powder in Camelia or Translucide for under my eyes - to set the concealer - and occasionally all over the face when I want my makeup to last all night.
I love love LOVE their loose powder. It is sooo finely milled, it feels like air going on. It never cakes - no matter how much concealer I've glopped under my eyes - and blends in seamlessly.
I also regularly use their Orchidee pressed powder - giving it a quick sweep with a big brush over my whole face, mainly the cheeks, forehead, nose - to perk up my pale face.
I haven't ever used the Banane shade, but I have no doubt it is lovely. I have yet to come across anything from this line that isn't a wonderfully made, and extremely flattering. I even like their nail polish. |

I love T. Le Clerc. I mentioned on another thread (or two) that their Professional Concealer is my favorite of all time. It never cakes in the lines under my eyes. I think this is because it takes so very little and it just blends into my skin. I sometimes use it alone just on spots when I don't want to wear foundation and you can't even tell it's there.
I also have and love the Chair Ocree and Camellia Loose Powders. My favorite lipstick also happens to be T. Le Clerc's 04 Voile Transparent Lipstick.
I agree with Ch79, T. Le Clerc Loose Powders are super-fine and all their products that I've tried are definitely the best that can be found.
A makeup artist used Banane Argentee on me but I didn't buy it. By the time I left the boutique that day I was terribly, terribly broke!

Arielle ~ omg.. you are making me even more tempted to try their concealer! i always have problem with concealer being cakey or sits i the fine lines under my eyes.
so if i want to conceal the redness on my skin, which powder should i use? btw, i m a NC25. tia.
currently there is only 1 store over @ my side, which is selling this product. but they have mark-up the price and it seems too pricey to buy. i m considering ordering it online, sharing with a few gfs of mine. |

rainbow, doesn't that store have testers? I wouldn't buy it if I couldn't take it for a test-run first or at least be able to return it easily if it didn't work out. You need to try makeup and wear it for a couple of hours to make sure it will work for you. After the makeup artist worked with me, I shopped around the area for awhile before I went back and bought the items I wanted.
Yeah, T. Le Clerc is very pricey--too pricey, in fact, to take it on faith.

ahhh. I see Ch79 answered the redness question. Good, 'cause I have no idea. |

CH79 ~ thanks! do you think i can mix the powder with my normal loose powder?
my skin is more of combination, oily @ T-Zone. i merely try using [Banane Argentee] over the T-zone area but never try it on the whole face. but i m pretty concern if the powder will start turning my face into an "oil-field" within hours of applying?
do u have any idea how long can i keep the powder? because it seems to be a pretty huge tin.
Arielle ~ yah, the store does have tester but there are simply too many powder around hence i am trying to narrow down on the few, which i should get the SA to try it on me during my next visit.
on 2nd tots i think it would be good if i have some knowledge on the products, as you know @ times the SA might not be as knowledgeable in their products and we as the customer might even know more then them. LOL.. |

I have used the loose powder, & I was pretty happy as my skin didn't seem to react to it at all. I usually find most powders irritate my skin, but this one was quite nice & I love the packaging too. |

I used their pressed power, and it was OK. I also had their eye shadows, and they did not last thru the day.
Just my 2cents,
Lucy. |

Loved the loose powder. I found it was so much cheaper in the drugstores in Paris. I guess they don't consider it a high end brand there. |

i think it was because the brand was originated from Paris and that explain why it is cheaper to get it there. |

I use the loose powder and have for a long time. I purchased the pressed powder because the compact was so attractive, but didn't like it at all. |

When I use the loose powder (either the banane or the translucide) the result is flawless, and you cannot tell that I'm wearing powder. The pressed powder doesn't seem to be quite as light. |

does that means the texture of the powder in compact form is thicker?
i have not tried the compact before but i agree with you that the loose powder is really very lite and sometimes you just dont feel like you are wearing powder at all. |
