I have noticed recently that the lines around my eyes are getting deeper.
i am making a conscious effort to really care for my skin. I have been using the aspirin maskmixed in yogurt twice a week followed by Aloette enzyme peel to remove any dead skin. At night I use the OCM and every week I steam my face. After cleansing my skin with the oil ( I use the Aloette version with castor oil mixed in) I apply my homemade vitamin c serum and then I use the age defiance and lumitone serum from Aloette followed by the advanced eye recovery. Finally once everything has had time to penetrate the skin I apply a thin layer of vaseline to my skin.
I have never noticed these lines before when I smile they are not the crow's feet but at the bottom of my eye.
Can anyone explain what is happening?
Any other experiences like this?
I read a post where someone was talking about the copper peptides and they went through a phase called the uglies, is this it?
I haven't used the enzyme peel underneath my eyes because I was thinking that the skin is far to delicate for the mechanical rubbing that is required.
Please help!!!!!! |

is your skin dehydrated maybe? lines can show up out of nowhere if it is. try the dehydration test -- put your finger lightly on your cheek and and gently push upwards -- if the skin looks "crepey" (as in like crepe paper) and folds in little lines, your skin is dehydrated. If not, it will just squish upwards in a nice plump way. |

Oooh don't worry too much over your lines. The best thing you can do to avoid more aging is to use a good sunblock and THAT could very well be the only thing. |

cracka, are you under any stress lately, and are you getting enough sleep? I am 35 with no wrinkles (just starting to see laugh lines) but recently have noticed lines under my eyes. But I know the cause of mine. I have a 6 month old who STILL gets up 3 times a night. I'm pretty sure once I start getting more sleep the lines will go away. |

You didn't mention your age. Being a "mature" woman, I remember when I got those first little lines...they just seemed to appear one day, and I couldn't figure out what was happening. I'm much better now!!! |

I think these lines are from dehydration. I'm getting them, too, and I think it's because I'm not drinking enough water. Also not getting enough sleep will contribute greatly to them. How much water and sleep are you getting each day? |

If you have mature skin,I think it's normal, don't worry about it.because eveyone will face this.what you can do is to let it appear lately.
when you choose skincare, you can focus on the antiaging and antioxidant component.
Wish you keep the beauty and young skin. |
