I found this product by accident and read many reviews on this line from MUA and acne forums. Alot of the reviewers used this on their face and had success. I've asked SusieQ (since I read a post that she had used this line before)and she liked the bar of soap. I wanted to make sure this product actually does what it claims to do. So tired of wasting $$$ on products that didn't work for me.
I wanted to use the acne scrub on my face but at the moment I couldn't but my back had been breaking out alot and some of them were the painful cyst kind. I've tried using topical rx meds (made it worse), head & shoulder w/ zinc (didn't do a thing), salicylic scrubs (nope) and so forth. So I decided to purchase this, I had nothing to lose. Some have said that the scrub is too harsh for the face (I haven't had the chance to use it on my face because I'm using Benzaclin at the moment and will have to wait till I finish this before I can use the scrub on my face). I can really say that using the scrub on my back, has really really helped my bacne. I've been using it for a week, every AM while showering. I would massage this for 1 minute than rinse it off. My back is slowly becoming smooth, the cystic pimps are gone (thank goodness because they hurt). During the 1st few days of using this I could feel the pimples drying up.
The acne treatment comes with 1 (16oz.) bottle of the scrub (which is huge) and a free sample of their natural soap, it's big too and I had to cut a small piece (which alot of people raved about). I've been using the bar of soap on face and it really does feel nice. It lathers up really well. I have combination, oily t-zone, acne prone and it doesn't dry out my skin. I was hesitant to use it but I needed a gentle cleanser due to the Benzaclin and was ready for breakouts from the bar of soap. Been using this soap for 1 1/2 weeks and I'm loving it. On the directions, you could use the soap first than the scrub than the soap afterwards. I haven't tried this yet on my face but hoping I can soon.
The ingredients for the scrub is:
BENZOYL PEROXIDE (active) 2%, PURIFIED WATER,NATURAL SOAP SOLUTION: [saponified oils: coconut, olive, soybean, cottonseed], Natural SHEA BUTTER, GLYCERIN, WALNUT SHELL POWDER, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, APRICOT KERNAL OIL, STEARIC ACID, CETYL ALCOHOL , ALOE VERA EXTRACT, CORN MEAL, MANGO BUTTER, EMULSIFYING WAX NF, HEMP SEED OIL, MACADAMIA NUT OIL, XANTHAN GUM, EVENING PRIMROSE OIL, ELDER FLOWER EXTRACT, CHAMOMILE POWDER, SWEET ORANGE ESSENTIAL OIL, LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL, YLANG YLANG ESSENTIAL OIL, BERGAMOT ESSENTIAL OIL, ROSEMARY ESSENTIAL OIL, JASMINE, SANDALWOOD ESSENTIAL OIL,GRAPEFRUIT SEED EXTRACT, CITRIC ACID, SODIUM CITRATE, Germall PlusĀ

I hope this product will help others with bacne and overall breakouts. |

Lovelly quisme, just lovelly! Glad to hear of the good results on your back. The cleanser is great. Did you receive the detailed info as I mentioned? You mentioned you were using the soap on your face but are you using the BP cleanser as well? I agree the soap is fabulous. |

Hi SusieQ!
You were right, this is a good product. The size of the scrub is wow and the free sample of soap, geez double wow. I'm loving the soap but I have not used the BP scrub on my face yet. I'm using Benzaclin on my face which has BP in it, so I'm just using the bar of soap to cleanse my face. I'm waiting to see if the Benzaclin will work for my face, if I don't see any result than I'll stop using it and use the BP scrub. So I was testing out the scrub on my back since I was having such a bad breakout and my back is finally looking and feeling much better. |
