Hiya! Smile

Are there any eye shadows and eye liners out there that wont smudge and end up all over the place?

I really need something that is going to stay on no matter what!
I am tired of and embaressed when after playing a show I go to the ladies room and I look like I have been crying!!!that especially goes for the eyeliner....

Please help me!!!

How about the Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner? That seems to stay on really well. I also find that the Stila Eye Shadow Pots (the mousses) stay on very well if layered.

The best non - smudging eye liner I have ever used (and I lose count how many) is Bare Escentuals loose powder in soft black and I apply it with the Jane Iredale Eye liner brush.
The best non smudging eye shadow - the only ones I have found that work for my very oily eye lids are the MAC paints, I normally apply with a lip brush, then blend in with my finger. The paints last all day.

i remember trying cargo eyeshadow and was amazed since it was still there by the end of the day.... as for eyeliner- i would not recommend bobbybrown. At first, it goes one well, but then it starts to dry out and you want to apply it wet or clumpy.... or perhaps you ARE suppose to apply it wet....

anyways, my 2cents

I have both BB (gel eyeliner) and MAC(fluidliner) and both are great. MAC also has powerpoint which is waterproof pencil liner.

i have got oily lid hence i have totally no luck in finding eyeshadow or liner that doesnt smudge on my eyelids after few hours.

but after using udpp it really helps! my eyes colors can last for as long as 8hours with no or little smudge. maybe you might want to give the gem a try?

I am using the Jane Iredale shadows and pencils and really like them. They stay put really well. I also have a liner from Dr Hauschka and have never had a problem with it.

Have you tried an eye shadow base? I use Urban Decay Primer Potion; my shadows stay put and fresh looking all day! (If I don't use it, shadows are melting and creasing within 15 minutes or so, as I have oily lids, too) It's SUPER, give it a try Wink
For an eye liner I would recommend MAC fluidline; it is so versatile to work with, and once it dries it won't move until you take it off.

I like the Urban Decay Primer Potion. I put that on under my eye makeup and it all stays put! I have learned that I need to put some foundation on top of the UDPP so that I have better blending abilities.

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner is the best I've found. It doesn't smudge at all and is thicker than MAC Fluidline which in my opinion makes it easier to apply. As for eyeshadows, I have never had any problems with Guerlain, Bobbi Brown and MAC Paints.

I second Urban Decay Primer Potion - it really works. Its not available in Oz but I found it on Ebay.

MAC Fluidline are fantastic.
Also the new Bourjois Cream Eyeshadow does not budge.
I always use a primer with powder eye shadows: Uban Decay Primer Potion and MAC Paints are good.

Definitely agree with using Urban Decay Potion as a primer, then topping with MAC Paints. For eyelines, MAC LiquidLast will absolutely not smudge.

MAC Fluidlines and Stila Smudge Pots are also good for not smudging - although not quite as much as the LiquidLast.

Have you tried Make Up For Ever? I purchased 2 (Brown & Plum) a couple of weeks ago from Sephora. I used to use MAC Teddy and Coffee, but towards the middle of the day, it seemed to melt. It got so bad, I started keeping qtips in my purse to use under my eyes.
I am completely happy with the MUFE. It doesn't smudge or melt. I use the nearest oil to take it off at night.
