So I just made an impulse buy. There are only 200 of these, so it's very limited edition.

It's a special color made specifically for the Imitation of Christ fashion show that recently occurred. You can make it really dark, but it's a sheer lip color.
I'm excited to try it. I can't believe I just bought it on a whim. I always research first...but the whole "limited edition" and "only 200" got me.
Man I fell for it!
Ah well...I've got a cool new color on the way!!!
But someone really needs to stop me next time! |

I agree...I was like "ugh...who'd WEAR THAT?!?!?"
Then I visited the website and saw it was a sheer grape. As I'm trying to get into berry colors, I figured it was worth a try. If it is too dark I'll just wear it on stage.
I'm wondering if they lined the lip with a dark pencil for the show...I guess I'll find out soon! |

This is the most beautiful, berry color! It's very sheer so a little goes a loooong way. Reminds me of Black Honey from Clinique but more grapey. I love it!
Too bad it's only a limited edition...this would be a re-purchase for me <gasp!...not Laura Mericier!!!>
I'm definitely going to check out Smashbox's other lip colors.
If you like berry colors, try to get your hands on this. It's so moisturizing! |

It was in texture only...with my beloved LM Discretion (the ONLY other lipstick I've used an entire tube of...the other was a discontinued Clinique color).
the colors are completely different, but LM is not as moisturizing as this Smashbox one...I don't know if this is the same formula as all their other lip colors but...man! It's fab! |

You are all such baaaaadddddd influences! So I just HAD to purchase that lipstick and the Tokidoki Skin Tint (I know-it looks really ugly on screen, I'm hoping for the best) and I had to try the Photo Finish Color Correcting Primer (I just HAD to!!!!)
Living out my fantasies through cosmetics!
