I tried both mascaras for a few weeks. Jane Iredale PureLash Lengthening Mascara is not bad, it covers lashes well, doesn't smudge and run down...but it smells weird like an old mascara. The colour is very reach (I got Navy colour), it looks black under regulat light and visible only under bright light or sun. I didn't get lengthening from this mascara. The close comparison would be Almay mascara.
The Blinc Kiss me Mascara is the best mascara that I ever tried ! I got it in purple colour. It covers very well, and also doesn't smudge. I was in the snow storm wearing it and it didn't run or smudge! Although the lable sais that one can't take it off with the oil, it is not true, it is very easy to cleanse with water based cleansers, OCM, and just a warm water. You don't have to press hard on your lashes, once it is wet it will come off easy. My only concern is that with long use of this mascara lashes may become dry due to absence of oil in the mascara. The colour is amazing!Definitely will buy again ! |

The above post is a review of the following product available at EDS:

Blinc Tubing Mascara (5 ml)
Formerly known as Kiss Me, blinc is the original mascara invented to form tiny water-resistant "tubes" around your lashes rather than painting them like conventional mascaras. Once applied, these beauty tubes bind to your lashes and cannot run, smudge, clump, or flake, even if you cry or rub your eyes. Whether your daily activities take you from the office, to your sweaty workout and then out to dinner, your lashes will look as good in the evening as they did when you first applied blinc in the morning.

Thanks for the review, Lara. I have been considering the JI mascara, but the smell might be a put-off. Also, I have long lashes already so I need a mascara to enhance volume. I was hoping to hear that the JI would do that. Did you consider contacting the seller to see if perhaps you got an older tube and could exchange it? |

Here is the update for my review of Blinc Kiss me Mascara and Jane Iredale PureLash Lengthening Mascara:
I'm still in love with Blinc Kiss me Mascara!! I use it almost every day since February.
As I said before Jane Iredale PureLash Lengthening Mascara had a weird smell. I decided to buy another one. When I recieved the new Jane Iredale Mascara I was expecting this horrible smell from the mascara, but it actually smell not bad. I geuss the first mascara was old and shipped by a mistake. The good thing I decided to try it again. I can definitely suggest both mascaras. The main difference between them is: Jane Iredale PureLash Lengthening Mascara doesn't make lashes as long as Blinc Kiss me Mascara does.
So, if you are looking for a mascara to give you length, I would suggest to go with Blinc Kiss me Mascara. Jane Iredale PureLash is better for volume.
I will order Blink Kiss me today in other colour...again |
