Any experience with this spa/esthetician line? A 5 step regime (only kidding - regimeN ) that treats acne, sun damage, and wrinkles.
Please let me know what you've heard/experienced, both good and bad. TIA |

I really liked it. You can read the reviews on makeupalley.
I talked to someone there and she'd tried the best ... from Prairie to La Mer and her derm also uses Somme Institute.
You can pick up an inexpensive travel kit at drugstore.com.
I really liked it and keep up with the Transport Pads. |

I'm interested in this brand. At first simple product seems to be good for oily acne skin.So I'll try cleanser and serum. |

When I first started law school my skin broke out really bad due to stress, and then all the sweating from Bikram yoga that I was doing to try to alleviate the stress!!!
My yoga instructor raved about Somme, so I tried it. I only used the middle three steps--I didn't use their cleanser or their sunscreen, and I had a very positive experience.
It cleared up my skin quite well--though at that time I wasn't really paying attention to aging or skin discoloration issues, so I can't really comment on that.
At the time it was pricey to me (still is, but I think my willingness to spend has increased since I joined EDS!), and then I decided to go on an all-natural kick, so I stopped using it.
I've thought about going back to it--but there are too many other things I want to try (like the Nanocyclic sample I just bought, and the Jan Marini sample set that just arrived today!).
I would definitely recommend it though, and if the new things I'm trying don't work out I will probably try Somme again.

Thanks tularyn! I've been soooo overwhelmed by the gazillion of products out there, and I've come to the conclusion that there are probably tons of excellent products, but you can only use so many.
The appeal of the Somme Institute line for me was relatively few steps but it covered all the bases: vit c, vit a and e, bha/aha, and sunscreen. Not to mention that I want to treat acne, diminish fine lines, and get even skin color. This pdt line just seems simpler. |
