Introduction with questions about acne and scarring

Hi everyone!

I have been haunting this place for quite some time, taking notes an saving up money Smile

and I decided I will finally post. But I must say- THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!! You are all so well-informed and kind. Happening on this site was life-changing; it empowered me with real information and gave me hope.

Anyhow, I just wrote an email to Naturderm laying out what I'm going through, but I wanted to post it here to see what you guys think.

I need your help!!!

I have been struggling with terrible acne since puberty (I'm 22 now). I currently use Proactive and a few moisturizers and am entirely dissatisfied. Proactive definitely messes up my skin. I don't believe in oil-free acne control. Also, the moisturizers I am using right now seem to be clogging my pores. I don't know what to do!!! I always have acne and as my scars seem to take years to heal, my face is covered in scars. One I felt like a beautiful girl but now I am embarrassed to leave the house. I am dating a model/actor and I can see people raise their eyebrows then they see us together. Sigh. Cover-up doesn't even work. I also have some very deep necklace lines which I fantasize about fixing, but I am primarily focused on fixing my face now.

I have been reorganizing my life. I have started taking vitamins and exercising again, and am willing to throw away all the skin care products I have accumulated if I have to. Also, I have very pale skin which I think can be very beautiful, but I currently fake tan to try and mask the acne scars. I would really love to embrace my paleness and ditch my current orangey tint.

Description of my skin:
*Obviously acne-prone
*Normal. Not particularly dry or oily
*Not particularly sensitive- no problems besides acne
*Skin feels thin. I would like to use products which build it up.
*Doesn't glow

Here is my current plan for my face:
Your 4-piece Naturderm System
Silkia Camelia oil
Caudalie Grape Water
Occasional PSF Pumpkin Enzyme Peel
Alima make-up

Here are questions about products I am thinking about, and would love your input on:
*Acne serum. I heard BBS acne serum was a good choice
*Decleor Prolagine Gel
*Copper Peptides (I don't know what kind, but I think anything to thicken my skin might be a good idea)
*Actives in general (believe or not, I've never seen a dermatologist but I will this week, and will ask about Retinoids and Finacia
*I've also heard good things about JM Bioglycolic
*Hair removal. I have hairy temples, strangely enough (I'm fairly certain my hormones are fine). I also have a faint mustache I wouldn't mind getting rid of.
*If you have any other good ideas about what I might put in my routine and when to add them.
