I am considering ordering a box of Dr. Hauschka ampules, and I was wondering if anybody has any input for me. I am having difficulty deciding whether I should buy the ampules for sensitive skin or the regular ampules.
I have oily, fair skin. I have some redness around my nose and on my cheeks, which has greatly diminished after starting a very strict Dr. H routine. The redness around my nose appears to be due to small red cappilaries close to the surface of the skin. My skin is somewhat sensitive to chemcials .. . for instance I have gotten rashes from wearing new and unwashed clothing from the store. Do I have sensitive skin, or do I just have oily skin with some redness?
Thanks for any advice!

I'm thinking that Winnie talked before about ampules and I know she uses some Dr. H products, so it's possible that she could advise you. Give her a PM and ask, I'm sure she'll be glad to help.

I'm using the normal Dr H ones but it's really difficult to say which ones would be right for you. There is nothing harsh about the ampules but people with sensitive skins can react to many things. Perhaps it's best if you get the ones for sensitive skin just to be sure? |

chimera.
I do use Dr. H. Products but have not tried their ampules. I am using ampules from Janson-Beckett. They have quite a selection of ampules in their salon products and are very reasonable in price. If you call them they could help you with the ones best for your sensitive skin. |

Chimera,
I've gone through a course of Dr Hauschka's Rhythmic Night Conditioner Sensitive. Midway through the 28-day treatment, I noticed a disappearance of one particular visible capillary. Whether or not it was due to this special solution is unclear. I'm not good with controlling experiments, but I remember being pleased with the results. Finally, skin irritation and dryness subsided. (note to self: add Dr. H ampoules to shopping list!)
I agree with Mabsy's suggestion to first try the Sensitive Amps. If all goes well, but your oily skin condition is not quite normalized, you may want to transition to the Regular Amps later on. |
