Can anyone recommend a good bronzer for pale skin?

I'm quite pale and want a pressed compact style bronzer that I can use on a daily basis to give my face a bit of colour, or also use with more intensity if/when I have a tan. Any suggestions? MAC, BB etc?

Hi Rachael! I've only tried drugstore brands (i.e. Physician's formula/Wet 'N Wild) and my favorite of them all is Milani's Touch O Sun. It has a mix of bronzing/highlighting/light pinks so as not to come out orange. It's been great for my pale skin. As with any bronzer though, too much will make you look unnatural. HTH!

Oh! I bought the perfect bronzer for my pale skin (MAC NW15) a few months back. It's from Clinique and it's called Shimmering Tones Powder in Bare Bronze. It's AWESOME!!! I'm not sure it's still readily available though as I believe it was special edition. I'm not sure if this picture I've posted is the same colour as mine or not, but it does look similar.

Something similar I just saw today at the Laura Mercier counter was their Shimmer Bloc. It also looks very nice and I think the colours will go nicely on pale skin.

yep, it's very pretty, but quite shimmery. they have several colors, but the pinkish one would probably be best if you're very pale.

Dr. Hauschka's Translucent Bronze Concentrate. It's a liquid bronzer that looks really dark and scary in the bottle, but you're only supposed to use a few drops of it, warm it between your hands (like with the Dr. H. moisturizers) and press it into your skin. Looks sooo natural and isn't dark at all (or orange or red or pink or anything but lightly tan) on pale skin.

I have a few things I've used with sucess. The Dr. Hauschka's bronze concentrate is the best and I get more compliments with it than anything I've ever used. If I want a bit more matte look I put some Physicians formula Mineral Wear Light Bronzer. It's available at most drug stores. Now for a new bargain pale bronzer Bonnie Bell has a new bronzing shade out called Gel Bronze in luminous glow. I love it and it's cheap!
